Alice was so absorbed in the book, she decided to continue to read, that she didn't even hear the front door being opened. The first thing she noticed, was that somebody hat flung themselves into the armchair opposite her.

Her eyes widen in shock:" Addie you're here!" laughing the taller one stood up again, opening her arms to hug her adopted sister.

"Did you shrink?"

"I'm not wearing shoes, you idiot." Addison let go of her Alice and took her hands.

When Alice turned around she saw three girls standing there, just watching the sister reunite.

The shortest one seemed to be her height, started to smile:" I'm Avani, it's so good to meet you. Addison wouldn't stop talking about you." Chuckling Alice walked towards her and held out her hand but Avani pulled her in a hug. 

he two girls beside her grinned. "I'm Dixie.", Dixie also pulled her in a hug before the youngest literally clawed at her sisters' arm so that she would let go and so that she could hug the new encounter as well.

"I'm Charli. You are gorgeous."

Alice looked at the ground blushing:" Thank you, you guys are so pretty."

To be honest Alice had always been insecure about her skin, her eyes, her hair. Pretty much about everything. Addison was gorgeous and nobody could tell her differently. Growing up she often grew frustrated that she didn't have the same facial features her sister has but with time her confidence grew, making her who she is today.

Dixie and Avani seemed to be so flawlessly pretty, that she grew insecure again. Charli, even though a teenager, and still in puberty, was already rather attractive, but in an adorable way. But seeing the smiles that the girls had on their faces made her feel welcomed.

"We already said hi to mom and dad, you didn't hear us, did ya?"

Alice blushed deeper, shaking her head:" No the book is really good. Mom said that they will go to bed early, so we can go out to eat somewhere if you guys want to."

Avani started to smile while Dixie laughed.

"Yes, please. I'm so god damn hungry.", was all that Charli said.

Dixie, who was still laughing at her sister rolled her eyes. "We know, you wouldn't stop complaining on our way here."

Addie laughed as well, giving Alice the keys to her car:" You drive"

Alice nodded and walked away mumbling something about her wallet. 

Addison looked at her friends with raised eyebrows, expecting opinions. "She is adorable.", now Avani is usually shy around people that she doesn't know, but with Alice being so quiet, she felt confident.

The D'Amelio sisters nodded in agreement smiling at the young adult that came running down the stairs:" You guys down for McDonald's?"

Dixie laughed, walking towards her:" Hell yeah!"

Allie opened the door, holding it open so that the girls could leave. Addison's car stood in their driveway, right next to hers.

The Easterling's sat in the front while Avani was sitting between the D'Amelio sisters. While Alice was moving her seat forward Addison connected her phone to her car to play music. Singing they reached their destination.

The girls started to order, on those big phone things. Addison had to order for Alice, who was busy cleaning her glasses because of the temperature difference. As soon as they walked in, her glasses fogged up, causing her to run into a human. Alice was embarrassed by that, but hey, she didn't know who it was due to her being temporarily blind.

Alice didn't have so much fun in a very long time. Every time Dixie laughed she had to laugh as well because her laugh was so infectious.

"So when do you wanna leave tomorrow?" before she answered she had to laugh because Avani looked hilarious eating what seemed like seven gazillion fries at once. 

If the drive costs us four hours, maybe at seven? We won't be too early but I will still be early enough to meet with my new landlord."

"Okay, bet."

Charli put down her coffee before clapping her hands excitedly because an idea popped into her head:" Let's face time the Sway-boys later. They will help us tomorrow and this way we can go over some things."

Addison laughed:" Oh shut it Charli, you just want to set Dixie and Griffin up. But yeah we could do that."

Now Alice had to laugh as well, they had already distinguished earlier who had a boyfriend, Avani, and who was talking to somebody, Charli and Dixie.

"Hey Avani, isn't your boyfriend one of them?"

"Yeah, Anthony will be there and so will Bryce, your sister's ex."

"Shut up, we're still friends.", Alice laughed, happy that she felt at ease with the girls.
