Jaden pulled Alice up to his room by her hand.
On their way, they took water bottles and snacks. In Josh's and Jaden's room the first thing Alice did was open the windows as far as she could and leaned out of it finally taking a breath of fresh air.
Jaden meanwhile tried to shove all of his things into a corner. He was messy, that wasn't a secret but he thought it was embarrassing that Alice, who is really organized saw this.
"Jesus Christ you are messy."
"I'm sorry it's just kind of a habit."
"Well more like a lack of habit."
"Huh?"
"I was like this too, until I turned seventeen and got my life together. I established a routine and it felt so good. I really like the feeling of a made bed and a clean room, it makes me feel productive and like I can do anything on that day."
"That sounds really good. To be honest I sometimes feel trapped with everything lying around here."
"Hey, maybe we can meet up, when we both feel better and clean up and organize. It may sound stupid but the first few weeks I laminated a list and crossed everything off as soon as I did it. It feels good."
"Yeah we can try that but right now I just want to sleep."
"Do you have like a Shirt and some shorts that I can borrow?"
"Yeah give me a second." He handed her the clothes and showed her the bathroom. Alice changed and used the toilet while she texted Nessa.
Waiting for an answer she chilled on Jaden's gaming-chair.
"Hey, why aren't you in bed yet?"
"Well I texted Nessa if I could use her makeup remover, and you were in the bathro- Uh! Answer."

"Well is she letting you use it?"
"Yep."
"You could've just used it."
"That's rude and impolite."
When Alice walked back into the room, she could see barely anything, Jaden had closed the blinds. Alice crawled under the blanket joining him.
Suddenly the room was lit in a pastel blue color and Jaden held the remote in his hands.
"What's up?"
"I wanted to see you without Makeup."
"Stop Jaden."
"No look at me."
Jaden grabbed her by the back of her neck making her gasp in surprise.
Alice looked down nervously, fidgeting with her hands. With his right hand, he stroked over her cheek until his hand rested on the side of her face while his thumb wandered around her face.
He lifted her head, trying to make eye contact.
"Look me in the eyes please."
Alice didn't hesitate and blushed as an immediate reaction. Jaden could feel the heat rising in her cheeks and had to smile at that.
"You are one of the most beautiful people in my life."
Shakingly Alice's hand grasped his wrist of the hand on her face, drawing little circles on it before she kissed her fingertips, pressing them on his wrist.
They looked each other deep into the eyes while getting closer.
Alice rested her forehead against his, bringing her in a very uncomfortable position, with a straight back and a stretched neck.
Realizing Jaden hunched his back a little so that it would be more pleasant to the older girl.
"Can I?"
Alice wasn't in any position to speak so she just nodded her head.
Jaden connected their lips together and leaned in. It was a very soft kiss, Alice's left hand was delicately placed on his cheek while her right hand was in his hair, massaging his scalp lightly.
Jaden had a firm grasp of her face with his thumbs on both cheeks and the rest of his palm on her upper neck. The position they were in was still uncomfortable so Jaden pulled her on his lap by her hips, pulling Alice's lips on his again before she rested against him.
Like this, he let himself fall back and dozed off, with Alice in his arms.
Alice was desperately searching for her phone, needing to text her sister. When she finally held it in her palm she started to type.

Alice tried to sleep like her sister had told her, but she couldn't.
Not because she wasn't tired but because her mind wouldn't shut up.
She liked the kiss. It was softer and filled than any kiss with Bradley.
Jaden might have told her that he was over Mads, but that was only twenty-four hours ago.
They were moving fast and Alice didn't know if that was a good thing or not.
Alice was single for two years, scared to begin something new. She feared that every guy would be like Brad, but Jaden was so different.
Jaden was confident and could come off as cocky when there were many people but in reality, he needs somebody who holds and listens to him.
With Alice, he didn't need to be afraid that she would cheat, not because she wouldn't get attention but more because she would be too scared to react to it.
He liked the way they were at the moment. They were slowly healing each other by talking about their problems.
