Alice headed up to her and Jaden's room one more time to get her purse and go to the toilet while the boys waited in the entrance.
Before Alice could go, Jaden grabbed her forearms telling her to use the elevator.
"But the stairs are healthier."
"You ran them up and down five times today. I think you're okay."
"Fine."
So she took the elevator, on the way up. Down she used the stairs. Technically she wasn't cheating but she could see Jaden's disappointed look, giving Bryce ten dollars, they had made a bet on how she would come back.
The beach wasn't far away from the hotel and the girl wanted to walk but they decided on taking the boys car in case of emergency, a mop of fans for example.
It was still very early, there were barely any people on the beach. Mainly joggers and people walking their dogs.
Alice was ecstatic. Their home in Louisiana was a good fifty-minute drive away from the beach so they only went like twice a year.
They picked out a spot where they would be hard to see but still close to the water.
Alice took off her wrapped dress to literally bathe herself in sunscreen because of how pale she is.
She didn't notice Jaden staring, who now finally knows, what she had bought.
"Can you get my back? I don't want it to burn."
He snapped out of his trance and lathered her back with it.
"You look hot Alice."
"Thanks, Bryce."
