Alice had thought a long time about the statement of the boys, that she should dye her hair blonde. But she still wasn't sure. She liked her hair black, it looked nice and it was healthy.
When she confided her doubts to her sister Addison calmed her down and told Alice, that nobody expected her to get blonde, it was only a suggestion.
Bryce who overheard also assured her that she should not feel pressured to do it. Alice decided, that she wanted to keep it black for a while, and also decided that she didn't want to cut it. Nervous she walked up to Jaden.
"Jaden?"
"Hmm?"
"Did you already text the hairdresser?"
"Oh fuck. I forgot."
He immediately got out his phone but the smaller girl laid her hand on his phone so that he wasn't able to type.
"Please don't. I want to keep it how it is."
"Sure, it looks nice like this. But when you do want to change something, let me know, I will call her."
"About Tomorrow. Do I pick you up?"
"You know what? That's a good idea. That way you can meet Nessa and there aren't two cars ant your complex."
"Oki, when should I be here? I have to go soon. Still have to look for a job."
"Nessa is coming kinda early so I think it will be enough when you come at like two pm? That way we still can spend some time. Will the other girls be here?"
"No, I think they wanted to do something with the other people from their house."
"Mads might come over."
"Mads?"
"Oh yeah. My Ex. We're good though"
"That's good, I guess?
They sat beside each other for a while, quietly observing the others while Alice played with her sweater paws.
"Can I ask?"
"Huh?"
"Why she is your Ex. You look like you still like her, a lot."
"I miss her. I am still stuck in a certain mindset after my last relationship, and she deserves something better than that me, so you could say, that the timing wasn't right."
"That's really deep."
They chilled for a few more minutes before Addison called her sister over.
"Hey, Allie! We're gonna get going, we'll drop you off."
Alice sprung up and started to race around the house, desperate to say goodbye to every single one of the boys, thanking them for helping her move and for giving her clothes. She hugged all of them and kissed them on their forehead. She loved them dearly, even after such a short period of time.
***************
In the car, they were listening to a weird mix of music but everybody got to choose a song before they arrived at Alice's Apartment complex.
All of the girls got out of the car as well and hugged their newfound sister goodbye.
Alice had tears in her eyes thinking about them leaving, having spent the last forty-eight hours together.
After bone-crushing hugs from each of the girls, she went up to her new home. Upstairs she crashed on her couch.
It was still hard to believe, she had her own apartment now.
