Just as she suspected, Alice didn't sleep much. She had fallen asleep somewhere at eleven p.m. and had woken up at twelve-fifteen.
It wasn't much, but she slept, and that was noticeable. The dark circles under her eyes seemed sheer and her eyes suddenly held energy.
Seeing as it was still early, she decided to work on a piece that somebody requested. She didn't get to finish it this night, but she came far, only a few outlines were missing.
Around five a.m. she showered so that the other girls still had enough time to use it as well if they wanted to.
As quietly as she could, she snuck into her room trying not to wake the still sleeping girls. She grabbed her clothes and her bag that contained makeup and deodorant, as well as a toothbrush.
Alice closed the door and went to their guest bathroom where she did her makeup, trying to keep it natural, not wanting to scare her new landlord.
Alice lived in the constant fear that she smelled bad (just because a girl in Middle school told her so, after their PE-class.), so she lathered her arms and legs in body lotion, used deodorant and body spray.
When she looked at the clothes in front of her Alice frowned. Should she wear a skirt or pants? She wanted to impress, not only the landlord, but also the boys, but she had to move later in the day.
After consideration, she decided that she would wear a skirt and would change when they get to her apartment after Ikea.
When Alice was finally happy, she brought the leftover things to Addison's car, shoving them in the trunk.
The four other girls were sitting in the kitchen when she came back.
"Oh, look who is all dressed up"
Alice immediately blushed at Dixie's comment. "It's not too much, is it?"
Her sister frantically shook her head. "You are beautiful Alice. You want a coffee"
Charli, who seemed to be asleep on the counter to that point, looked up. "Coffee?"
Alice laughed and started to make coffee for all of them.
They were enjoying their morning coffee until Alice looked at the time and nearly fainted.
"My god, we are late. I will be too late, oh no!" And just like that, she started to run around like a headless chicken trying to grab all her things at once and to bring them to the cars.
"Calm down Alice, you're turning into the white rabbit." Charli laughed at Avani's pun while she grabbed Alice's leftover coffee and filled it in a to-go cup.
"Come on!" Addison closed and locked the door after everybody had their stuff.
"Alice we are literally two minutes too late."
