She brought her friends back to their homes.
Well more like to the Sway-house. Nessa and Mads were still staying there.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay?"
"I am sure Jaden."
"But it's already dark out."
"My car is parked directly in front of the house and I have pepper spray in my purse. And I have Addie's present with me, I'm sure I could knock somebody out with that."
"Please be careful."
"I will. Good night."
"Ah, Ah. Give me a hug."
Alice practically fell into his arms and he bend down so that he was directly next to her ear: "Please text me as soon as you get home."
"I will Jaden."
"Good night."
"Good night."
Jaden still stood in front of the door to make sure that Alice got in her car safely.
"No goodbye kiss?"
"Fuck off Bryce."

When Alice walked up the stairs to her apartment she felt a little queasy but everything was okay once she was inside.
She closed the door but didn't lock it before she checked the whole apartment. When she looked under her bed, after she looked behind the curtains and, on the balcony, she was finally done.
Alice now locked the door, letting her key stuck in the hole. She used the chain on the door and started to read how the security bar worked.
It was pretty easy, one side is put on the floor and gets pushed back a little, then the other side will be adjusted in height that it fits and get's put around the doorknob.
