K.K. sat in the car as the music from the radio played softly in the background. He stared at Josh's house and could hear the loud music coming from inside. He gripped the steering wheel in frustration before he let out an exasperated sigh and exited the car. 'Time to deal with him', K.K. thought to himself as he entered the house and looked around to find Josh. Digby noticed K.K. and waved at him to try and get his attention. But Totakeke ignored Digby when he finally spotted Josh standing in the middle of the living room talking to one of the townsfolks.

He quickly walked up to Josh, raging in anger as the grey wolf soon noticed him.

"Well if it isn't Mr. K.K. Slid-" Josh said sarcastically but was soon cut off when K.K. forcefully grabbed the wolf by the collar.

"Don't you ever touch her again! Or you'll have me to deal with! Understand?" K.K. shouted furiously. The whole place went silent as the animals watched in shock. Josh stared at K.K. surprised. No one had ever heard K.K. Slider yell before. The thought of him shouting just seemed unrealistic when people thought about the chill musician.

Josh pulled away from Totakeke's grasp and stared at him enraged.

"Don't YOU ever touch me again! Who the hell do you think you are?!" Josh sneered. Digby and Lottie looked at each other and then back at K.K. They didn't understand what happened. They didn't understand why Totakeke was so mad. But K.K. didn't say anything else. He just looked at the wolf gritting his teeth before he pushed him, making Josh fall hard on the wood floor.

"K.K. what the heck?" Digby asked in a loud whisper as Totakeke left Josh there and started walking towards him. K.K. threw Digby his car keys and turned around to look at Josh again.

"Don't talk to him. I'd hurt that sicko and so would you." K.K. said before he pushed through the crowd and made his way out the door. Digby and Lottie looked at Josh distastefully. They didn't know what he did, but whatever it was, it wasn't good. Digby stood in silence until the thought of Isabelle came to him. He knew that she left after she was with Josh. He knew that he did something to her. Digby grabbed Lottie's hand and slowly walked up to Josh to say one final remark to him.

"Don't EVER touch my sister," Digby said firmly.

Josh watched Digby leave with Lottie as they heard the other townsfolks whispering to each other. Digby couldn't really hear what they were saying, he didn't really care. He just quickly led Lottie to the car and left the party. They have had enough for tonight.

The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as quiet piano music played in the background. K.K. couldn't remember the last time he was at the Roost. It seemed like years ago. Maybe because it was years ago.

"The usual..?" Brewster asked. K.K. nodded and smiled.

"You know how I like it," K.K. responded and watched quietly as his old friend, Brewster, made his coffee.

".....enjoy," Brewster said as he slid the coffee cup to him. Totakeke looked down at his cup and smiled. He missed Brewster's coffee. He missed playing at the Roost. He missed everything about this cafe.

"So how have you been old friend?" K.K. asked, "It's been a while." The old pigeon smiled and nodded.

"Yes....it has. It seems as though it was just yesterday you were playing your guitar at my cafe. Coo... but now you're traveling around the world. It must be nice.." K.K. chuckled and shook his head.

"Very stressful man. I mean.. I love performing and meeting my fans but... I don't know. It's just hard to handle all the pressure." K.K. took a sip from his coffee and let out a sigh. Brewster looked at the dog and frowned.
