"C'mon Izzy, get up," Digby said as he pulled the curtains open in Isabelle's room. The sunlight hit Isabelle's face making her bury her head in K.K.'s hoodie that she was now wearing. She grunted, annoyed that her brother wouldn't leave her alone.
"Is that...K.K's hoodie?" Digby asked just realizing that Isabelle had it on. She didn't respond, she just covered her face with his sleeves hoping her brother would soon leave. Digby sighed.
"Look, I know you miss him. I miss him too. But how do you think I feel? He didn't even say goodbye to me." Digby muttered. Isabelle slightly lifted her arm to look at Digby. He really did seem sad.
"I'm worried about you Izzy. I hate seeing you like this. I mean... you had me really worried last night when you left the party. I don't know what happened but whatever it was it sure made K.K. mad." Digby said. Isabelle sat up and looked at her brother confused.
"Wait, what did Totakeke do?" Isabelle asked. Digby looked at his sister and sighed.
"He kinda...yelled at Josh heh," Digby said smiling nervously. Isabelle didn't say anything. She just let out a groan and dropped herself on her pillow. She knew why K.K. yelled. And she couldn't help but feel as though it was her fault. But at the same time, when she thought about how he got mad at Josh because of her, she blushed. It wasn't like K.K. to get angry.
"But seriously Isabelle you have to get up. We both have to head to Nooks Home's and discuss construction for a new building in town." Digby said. Isabelle sighed. Her brother was right. She couldn't let her emotions get in the way of helping the townsfolks and mayor.
She reluctantly agreed and got up from her bed. Digby smiled at his sister before he finally left the room leaving Isabelle alone. Isabelle then got up and headed towards her closet to change. She stared at herself quietly in the mirror seeing how she looked in K.K.'s hoodie. She giggled, it was a bit too big for her, but she still loved it. She slowly took off his hoodie and folded it neatly, leaving it on the corner of her bed. She then dressed into her fall outfit before she went downstairs to the kitchen.
Her brother was waiting for Isabelle by the door and handed her a granola bar before the two dogs left for work.

K.K. stared at the ceiling as he was laying on his bed quietly strumming away on his guitar. He couldn't help but feel as though he made a mistake. The more K.K. thought about letting down his fans the more disappointed he started to feel.
"Soo, are you gonna go see her?" Shrunk asked before he took a sip from his coffee. K.K. smiled at the axolotl and shrugged.
"I will soon. Just nervous about what I'm gonna say, that's all," K.K. said. Shrunk chuckled and set his coffee down on the counter.
"Aren't you Mr. Chill?" Shrunk joked, "I thought talking to a girl would be a breeze for you." K.K. didn't respond. Yes, he was very chill and smooth when he performed on stage. But for some reason, he was never really that way when he was around Isabelle. Shrunk let out a sigh and continued.
"Just tell her how you feel Totakeke. It's that simple," Shrunk said. K.K. sat up and looked at his friend.
"It's not 'that simple' man. What if she doesn't feel the same way?" K.K. asked. Shrunk rolled his eyes.
"I'm sure she does K.K."
"You don't know that," K.K. insisted.
"Yes, I do. It's so obvious that she likes you. I'm surprised you haven't asked her out sooner to be honest." K.K. just rolled his eyes as he got up and set his guitar on the side of his bed.
