"Digby...are you alright?" Lottie asked as she entered the kitchen. Digby had his head rested on Lottie's kitchen table staring at the wall. It was really early in the morning, and when Lottie found out what happened with K.K. she contacted Digby to make sure they were alright. And even though Digby said everything was fine, Lottie could tell that he wasn't telling the truth.

Digby let out a sigh as he tried to process what he had heard K.K. and Isabelle talking about in the hospital. After Shrunk and Digby decided to leave the two alone for a while they came back only to hear Isabelle sob and scream at the poor musician. Needless to say, Digby was worried about his friend. He couldn't help but feel as though he hadn't really been the greatest friend to K.K. since he showed up, and all he wanted to do was help him. But when K.K. got released from the hospital and Isabelle invited him to stay at their place, Digby felt as though he should just leave the two of them alone for a while.

Digby, however, was incredibly grateful to have someone like Lottie to offer him to stay at her place for a while. But he could only imagine what Isabelle's reaction would be once she found out he was here staying with her. She always found the need to bother him about his relationship with Lottie. Pestering him for being in love and too scared to tell her that he is. He found it kind of ironic considering that Isabelle was the exact same way with Totakeke.

"Digby?" Lottie asked again. Digby looked up at Lottie and gave her a weak smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine Lottie. Sorry about...all the trouble." Lottie gave Digby a warm smiled before she sat down at the seat across from him.

"It's fine Digby, really. I'm always happy to help you. Especially now with...everything that has happened," Lottie muttered. Digby sighed.

"Yeah...but I know K.K. will be alright. Though I can only imagine what he's going through, what they're going through. Something like that is kind of hard to get over." Digby said. Lottie nodded.

"Yeah, but I'm sure they'll be fine. They love each other, therefore will take care of each other. So don't worry about them, Digby. Just keep your head up high and look on the bright side. K.K. is alright, and the police are looking for those sick bastards that hurt them," Lottie said. Digby looked at Lottie and chuckled.

"Yeah I guess your right," He said, "You always manage to make everything better." Lottie smiled and set her paw on Digby's.

"Well, I try. So what movie are we gonna watch tonight? I was thinking about this one action film...but uhh after what happened with K.K. I'm kinda thinking against it heh," Lottie said. Digby laughed.

"Yeahhh, maybe a comedy. I need something to laugh about now during these times of unforeseen events." Said Digby. Lottie gave Digby a warm smile before she got up from her seat.

"Alright! Sounds like a plan. I'll make the popcorn and you choose the movie," said Lottie. Digby nodded.

"Sounds good."

Isabelle walked down the hallway, soup in hand, and entered the guest room that K.K. was staying in. The dog was lying in bed as quiet music played the background to try and help him sleep. But no matter how hard he tried, it just felt as though his body couldn't rest.

"Totakeke?" Isabelle asked as she entered the room and placed his soup on his nightstand. K.K. lifted his face from his pillow and turned to look at Isabelle. She frowned, he looked exhausted.

"I made you soup, sorry it's not ramen but the doctor said you really shouldn't eat any heavy foods," Isabelle said. K.K.'s head fell back on his pillow as he let out a sigh and smiled.
