KKATTY4LIFE

Katty's POV:

"Seen who?" I asked confused and kinda regretful that I didn't deny that I was Katty.

"You must've seen him in your dreams, no?" I think back and realized that she was talking about the dream that I had a few moments ago.

"What's your deal?" I ask a bit agitated as this complete random stranger is invading too much of my personal space.

"Well," she sighs, "I've got some good and bad news to tell you." I wait anxiously trying to understand what she'll say next. "The good news is that-"

"No," I interrupt surprising her, "start with the bad news first."

"Okay, I guess... Bad news, you only have two days to find out your soulmate."

"What?!" I almost yell.

"SHH! You're gonna make a commotion, so just hear me out."

"Two days to find a soulmate? What does that even mean?"

"That means that you have to find the one who is bonded to you before the time of birth, even connecting back to your true souls' origins."

"I'm still confused." I rub my tired eyebrows and gently pressured my temples to clear the stress. I wish I had my rose-scented candle now. I need it more than ever.

"Well, should I tell you the good news?"

I gave her my ultimate 'duh" face and she got the hint and proceeded.

"Well since you may have not had a clear look on who the man was, I'm going to give something..."

She looks through her front pockets, back pockets and into her blazer and pulled out this:

"What's that?"

"Well, this Katty is a pendant that can see through the truth of one's heart."

"So how's this gonna find my special soulmate." And she hits me across the head.

"OW!"

"Cut it out! This here will see through the truth of your heart. Now put it on."

I was skeptical, however, I decided to just go along with the flow and put it around my neck and let the pendant touch my heart.

"My, my child. Your heart is so blue. How come it's this blue?"

"What do you mean so blue?" I change the subject, since a. I don't trust this woman's intentions and b. I needed to know more about her side of the story. How come she's spewing out nonsensical things about soulmates and the need to find one? What could drive some stranger to go out of their way to help another?
