Katty's POV:    

I just witnessed and saw the whole thing. I rest my head back, taking in the unbelievability of it all. It seemed too surreal and it felt like my emotions are being toyed with.

Even though I'm not Katerine a part of me cried with her, my past self, who wanted nothing but to live her life freely even during 15th century AD.

So what's stopping me now? 

"You b**ch!" I heard Chae Sunbae scream, snapping me out of my trance and I see her pull the hair of the old woman.

"Yah! Yah!" I shout disrespectfully at her, stopping her tracks, "That's enough."

I look back at the old witch and she also has hazy eyes that concentrated away from the giant sphere, her eyes gloomily watching the ground... it must've been too much for her to carry this for so many years.

"I don't have much time..." she says.

"But what are we gonna do?" I ask her. "The John and Katherine story happened many years ago." I bent down over to her and she looks at my face, "Jungkook and I, we are not the same people as before. We have our lives, our individuality and it's too much to ask someone, 'hey can you please fall in love with me in one day, since you are my soulmate and if you don't I'll die?'"

She chuckles and then says, "Yeah. I said that exact same thing to the Fates, but they want you to be together and fix the timeline."

"If not?" I ask her again.

"The future looks bleak for the both of you," she finally said. I stood up and hugged Chae Sunbae, who only held me in that embrace.

This time the necklace didn't burn her and it turned blue.

"Why isn't it burning me now?" Chae Sunbae asked.

"Because I place a protective spell, specifically for you, Chae Soo-Bin." For the first time, Chae Sunbae smiled at her.

"I mean it's not like we can change his mind to fall in love with you? Right? And even if we do ask, even begging him, he'll be the type of person to say 'in your dreams'."

"Wait what did you say?" I ask her again.

"He's not the type of person-"

"No after that."

"Even if we beg him-"

"No after," I persist. 

"He'll say to you 'in your dreams'."

"That's it!" I exclaimed, leaving both Chae Sunbae and the old witch baffled by my sudden screech of eureka.

"Umm..."

"It's Mistress Yoon," she corrects me and I look at the back of my pendant, "You- You're Yoon Yeo-Jeong?"

"Yes, that's my name."

"Huh that's weird I didn't even refer to you by your name before."

"Well now that you know, what was it that you were so excited by before?"

I thought for a moment before going, "Oh! Remember how you were able to send me a dream of me seeing Jungkook as my soulmate?"

"Yes?"

"Can you do the same for him?" I ask her.

"Do you think I haven't done the same, honey? But since I didn't know who was the current host for Katherine's soul, I used her image to convey that she's his soulmate?"
