Fates' POV [Third Omniscient Person]:
15th Century A.D.
Three girls walk through a prairie beyond the Kingdom of Aramala confines. One is Lady Katherine Young, (present birth Katty) daughter of a nobleman named Timothy and Joanna Young (present birth Yoon Yeo-Jeong), and the other is Charlotte Smith, (present birth Chae Soo-Bin) handmaid to Lady Katherine and confidant to Lady Katherine, and the other girl is Lady Bella Darcy (present birth Kim Eun-So), daughter of Andrew and Rosaline Darcy and best friend to Lady Katherine.
Together, these girls were inseparable, unable to part ways with each other, even spending time outside curfew and then get spanked as soon as they got home.
And they did get spanked for staying in the prairie until 10.
Despite the consequences, they all made leeway to cause trouble around town.
And this time was no exception. They plotted on pranking a handsome peasant boy, a boy that both Katherine and Bella were interested in, a boy named John William (present Jeon Jungkook).
He was tall, had scorching auburn hair, pretty emerald eyes, a great muscular tone fit that all maids fell for, however, he didn't bother initiating a conversation with any girl at all.
He avoided them at all costs.
Which made this prank much easier for Katherine and Bella.
Charlotte knew that this was a bad idea to begin with and warned them. "Girls, come on! Think this through!"
However, they only nudged her out of the way and went to their secret hideout in the prairie where the bundled a white cloth containing all the evil ingredients needed to concoct this epic prank.
"Ahhh... why won't you guys just listen?"
"As if." Katherine retorted and Bella laughed.
"Oh, you guys know that this is a bad idea."
"Hmmh," Katherine replied.
"So can't we just give it up for once?" Charlotte pleaded.
"Nope!" Bella jumped carrying some of the items and tried to set a trap for John.
Both Bella and Katherine set up a booby trap for John as soon as he steps in the foothold where the rope was, he would be turned upside down and then flogged by them.
Yeah, Charlotte was right this was awful.
Much to their surprise, John recognized their trap and pretended like he was gonna fall for it, to only prance around it and walk his way to the town market.
"Ah! It didn't work!" Katherine angrily belted.
"Of course it wouldn't." Charlotte mocked, but Bella and Katherine kept their tabs on John who was talking through to other people.
Unfortunately, one unlucky man tripped into the trap and he's foot was tied to the rope and he was hanging upside down.
Afraid of being caught, Katherine, Bella, and even Charlotte all fled away- capturing the attention of John - who thought it was strange for three girls to run away from such commotion happening with the town square.
The girls watched from the distance as John was able to single-handedly rescue the man and safely drops him to the ground.
Then the girls noticed that John suddenly disappeared, and they were all confused, looking around to see where the mysterious man went.
