This story is dedicated to @JoonIsMaBoo
who has requested a love story between Tori and RM, her parents forcing her to choose someone else and eventually a twist that will be coming...

Just wait a bit more as I made you wait for so long...

I'm terribly sorry :(.

Tori's POV:

It's been a while since I've wandered outside the castle grounds. I've been forced by my own mother to stay and learn how to cook, how to display proper etiquette, how to sew, how to clean and how to look beautiful all the time...

But all I wanted was to explore out into the wilderness... where I practice with my bow and arrows and at times with my daggers too.

Even though I love to go out in the woods and explore, I can't help but notice this uneasy feeling of being watched...

And I don't know by whom.

"Tori! Come on down here! We've got to resume training on your vocabulary and proper greetings!"

I mentally groan at the thought of this and I wish I could roll my eyes towards my mother.

However as the queen of Erastaim, she can mandate me do to more if I disobey her.

"Come on now! Chop! Chop!" That mother of mine's nagged.

When was the last time I've gone out for myself?

As soon as lessons were over and everyone was done eating dinner, I said good night to my dad, my cute twin sibilngs, Ron and Margaret, and then to my mother and the servants that were there.

As soon as I noticed the coast was clear, I dress up, pack my things, and prepare to jump out the window, to only hear a rap on my door.

NOK. NOK. "Tori is everything alright?"

"Oh Christ!" I hissed quietly and quickly hid my bag of materials, under the bed, and just in time, I slide myself under the covers as my mom walked inside.

"Sweetie?" She calls out tenderly.

"I know it's hard. I've allowed you to have more time than I did because I had lost my childhood to poverty, that is until I met your dad, who was a prince, and he decided to marry me,"

"And-"

"-That didn't sit well with his family and so he abandoned his kingdom and took you here, where he formed a new one with some of his followers," I cut off.

"That's right," my mother sighed, "you're sixteen and I need to train you early, or if not you'd be..."

"Not wedded by the time I turn eighteen," I end.

"That's right. So please go to sleep early and we'll start again tomorrow, hmmh?" She looks at me with a kindling innocence and trust that has been built, since I've been complacent this whole time, even if I wasn't doing so great in any of the subjects.

Sorry mom.

"Ok," I nod my head, and she proceeds to land a kiss on my forehead, "good night," she soothes, and leaves out of my room.
