Y/N's POV:

I don't know how long I've been here with him as time is difficult to count once you're in this world. We've checked two-thousand fifty doors. Door two-thousand fifty-one here we go.

"Let's go back," I said and Wani just smiled and replied with, "You're in no rush anyway, so just take your time."

Wait what? "No rush? Do you have any idea of what I-"

"Yeah. You need to get back to a life where despite being disappointed nearly all the time you have an attachment to that world. Let me guess is it because of stupid love or belonging?" He fluttered his eyes pathetically trying to imitate how humans fall head over heels on literally everything.

I stayed silent knowing if I opened up more, Wani will use it to tear me down. "Let's just keep going!" I stomp my feet real loudly and that got him to laugh for a bit.

"Wait up!" He yelled, but I just kept going, ignoring his snide ass.

"Okay door two-thousand fifty-one. I hope you're the right one," and as soon as I opened it up, my jaw dropped as I saw a beautiful white jade and royal blue dragon standing strong in their claws. I looked over to see Wani in despair.

SMACK! The door shut loudly and Wani stormed out else where as I tagged along behind.

We ended up coming back where Mr. Ruto eagerly waited for us on the porch.

As we waved our hands at him he smiled in return.

"Kiddos, how did your search go?"

"It's been hard Gramps," I say without realizing and I could feel Wani curse at me for being so moronic.

I immediately bowed down to Mr. Ruto and apologized, yet he pulled me up and hugged me.

"I've always wanted a granddaughter you know," he laid his head back with his hands holding it up and sighed, "...A cute girl to have tea parties with, dress up and have fun nights doing karaoke or doing makeovers," I feel dew drops land softly on my shoulders to which Wani broke us up. "That's enough! We've got so many things to think about as it is." Gramps quickly wipes his face down with a tissue he crumpled in his pocket, clenching onto it his right hand and looked up solemnly at us.

It must've been hard without seeing any children.

"Now we need to figure out a way to get you back home. We've been to two-thousand fifty-one doors and still haven't figured it out."

"So now what do I do?" I ask him.

"Just wait it out and we'll see," Wani reminds me and I look down contemplating on an issue.

I cooked dinner tonight as I wanted to thank Wani and Gramps for allowing me to stay here longer than usual.

After all, if I'm to burden someone, the least I could do is some chores around.

And cooking food for others is the best.

I decided to make some (f/f- your favorite food) and serve it to them.

Gramps grinned widely, "This looks so delicious, thank you darling," I nod as I waited for Wani.

"You can start eating now dear, he won't be come down for dinner," Gramps pushed a dish towards me. "What? Why?" I asked him.
