Both Zyan and Ken listened silently, remaining vigil, and suspicious of their surroundings.

They kept looking around, the sound of their feet brushing the ground can be heard for miles.

Zyan watches his left, while Ken looks at his left. Both of them circle around, as the needle of compass sways, making sure they were going in the right direction.

"ALLLALLLALLAREEEE!" echoes in the distance and their eardrums rattle.

Was this some kind of prank?

Because of it was, then that's a really twisted sick joke that someone is playing.

And they should stop.

But before they could do anything to stop the source of the noise, they hear screeches of burning hot tracks, coming towards them, with two beaming lights engulfing the area they are standing on, getting bigger as it comes closer, a predator taking action to catch its prey.

It was their van. 

And Ken was more than upset.

"What the-" Zyan tried to say, but Ken cut him off and he was having difficulty forming words as his anger inhibited his abilities to think clearly about the situation.

Instead of arguing, he decided to get into the van, push Zoey out to Zyan, so he can tug her to the back seat, then Ken pushes Leah to the front passenger seat.

Zyan sets Zoey's head on his exhausted left shoulder and he looked back at her to notice that she's sleepy.

He wished he could sleep now, but knowing that Noah is out in the middle of nowhere, he couldn't rest.

Ken just glares at everyone in the van for a brief moment, before starting the car, turning off the headlights and driving into the unexplored forest.

Why did they do this?

Only for a friend does truth stand.

And they wanted him to be alive and okay.

In an unknown area, surrounded by a mystical tribe of faeries, who have studied black magic and they speak in an unknown language. They were all females, between four to five feet tall, have pointed ears and small colorful pastel transparent wings, and they were nearly naked, except for a garland of roses and some banana leaves as skirts. They each had different shades of skin ranging from olive, pink, and dark brown.

They were desperate for a male king to birth them an offspring. Especially after the dry spell from last winter left them feeling weak and vulnerable.

And the faerie who was the first to be able to get pregnant could be a queen (head charge) during her duration until her baby (which is all female) is born.

So when two faeries spotted Noah with Zoey and saw how sad he became after being dumped, they couldn't allow Noah to be left alone.

This they kidnapped him by pouring golden-black sand all over him so that he's limp and unable to move for himself.

They tied him down. And held him hostage inside a net and wait for their substitute leader, Giriozi, to pass her judgment upon Noah.
