The next morning, Severus had flooed Narcissa and her family. Quirrel, Severus and Harry we're sitting having tea when Draco burst through the floo. He strife straight over to Harry, clearly in an older headspace.
Just as Narcissa stepped through with Ginny, Draco grabbed Harry's collar, tearing him off the seat. His cup clattered to the ground, smashing.
He backed Harry to a wall, and growled lowly, "Motive?"
Harry was almost giddy, "Lord Voldemort."
Lucius then stepped through with Karkoden, who was still slightly weak.
"Draco? What are you on about?" Severus suddenly asked, as the new arrivals sat down.
Draco stood for a moment weighing his options. "Ah, he hasn't told you?"
Harry felt panic rising in his throat, when he saw Draco's plan devising above his head. Harry was glad he could trust Draco.
"Told us what?" Tom was clearly fronting now, his voice worried but also stern.
"McGonagall isn't the first person he's killed."
Everyone stilled, and Draco continued. "Hermione Granger? That was him. I knew immediately, but I kept quite. I eventually let my anger bubble over, and demanded a response. He usually replied with 'motives' which is why that was our codeword," Draco sat on the floor, Harry sliding down beside him,
"He eventually told me, about the voice in his head. I didn't believe him at first, but he got hysterical. So I did, and he explained what was going on, and who the voice was. I was confused, but supported him. We agreed that if he ever had the need to murder someone again, he'd come to me. I would try and talk him out of it, and if that failed, I would, ah, join him."
Lucius looked gobsmacked, surprised his little boy had this in him.
"Just as loyal as your father, I see." Tom drawled, sitting forward.
"Of course, sir. Although I must say, mine and Harry's relationship differs far from your relationship with my father."
Lucius looked like he was about to cry, and Narcissa looked like she was about to start laughing.
Harry smiled weakly, "I'm sorry, can Draco and I have some time alone? I need to... Ah, confide if you will,"
Severus nodded, and stood, "Of course. You may talk in my bedroom, please exit when you are ready."
The two followed him in, and once safely shot inside, Harry shot up silencing wards.
"You fucking owe me one, big time." Draco growled, "How did I do, though? I hope I didn't fuck anything up."
"Alright with the cursing, are we? You did fine, great actually. I owe you my life. Now, how did you get that good?" Harry was smirking, and Draco almost wanted to slap it off his face.
"I was eaves dropping on my parents when Severus flooed them. Are you okay, though? Severus did say you were hysterical."
"All in the name of acting, my love. Were you serious about killing with me?" Harry laid on the floor, and Draco got a going in his eye.
"Oh yes," he also laid down, "I don't think I'd even try and stop you."
"That pleases me. Who should we kill? Our first duo murder." Harry turned his head to meet Draco, and Draco tuned his so they were nose to nose.
"I'm not sure, my lord, why don't you pick for us?"
Meanwhile, back in the living room, Lucius was almost hysterical himself. "I don't know how I feel about my little boy becoming a homicidal maniac."
Ginny and Karkoden were safely under a silencing charm, drawing.
"He's following in his father's footsteps, Lucius," Tom drawled.
Narcissa couldn't help but snicker, "I think he's rather following in Severus', my lord."
The mentioned man turned bright red, "How dare y-!"
"Ah, I do believe you are right. Draco does seem to love dear Harry, doesn't he?" You could hear Tom's smirk, and Narcissa did start laughing as Severus started bluffing.
Lucius couldn't help but also laugh, "I'm still not very happy over this." He whispered.
"No one is darling, but at the end of the day, he has chosen the many he wants to follow, even if it is years too early. I'm just wondering how long it will take for Harry to mark him, if he hasn't already." Narcissa spoke, subconsciously running her hand over her own mark.
"He hasn't. He wouldn't know how to without my help."
"You say that Tom, but how much has he been learning from the small occupant in his mind?" Severus asked, sitting straighter.
"I feel awful. I thought the evil part had died; but Harry was carrying the burden this whole time."
"I think he was exaggerating some, he realised he fucked up and back tracked. Tom, that part of his mind was weak. As you said, it feels dead. There is no way it could of possessed Harry to murdering someone and leaving that message on the window, in her blood." Severus pointed out, and Tom nodded.
"I'll let him come to me about it. I wouldn't know how to remove the Horcrux, so I shall simply try to regain contact, and possibly see what Harry knows. I worry that it may make a pathway between our minds, however."
The four adults continued their conversation, and little did they know two boys had been listening in.
Harry turned to Draco, "Well, at least they know I'm insane."
Draco laughed madly, falling onto his back from his sitting position, "Well, I suppose our murdering spree can start a little earlier. Hey, you may even be able to convince Tom to join us."
Harry smiled wickedly, "Oh if only."
