With Tk!Gaster"So where are our kids?" Queen Shara asked their Royal Scientist. "Surely you didn't leave them unsupervised."
"Not at all, your Highness," Gaster said as he led the two Royals through his lab. He entered a control room and looked through the glass and gestured for the King and Queen to look as well. "They are right here. As you can see, the boys wanted to practice using their magic. So I gave them all a safe place to practice."
Gaster moved to the controls to press the mic button. "How are you doing boys?"
The three turned to look up to see Gaster with the King and Queen next to him.
"We're doing fine," Papyrus said as he looked up at them. "It is good to see you, your majesties! I hope your day is going well!"
"Hi, Mom, Dad!" Asgore said as he waved.
"We're doing fine, but in all honesty we would improve if we had Chro here," Sans said. "We were practicing what he showed us, but basically perfected summoning our magic. Hopefully when he comes back, Chro can teach us how to use attack patterns or color magic."
"I'm sure he will," Gaster replied. "Until then, just keep practicing or just play with your dolls. You boys know Chronos would be very upset with himself if he wasn't here if you got hurt."
"Okay daddy!" Papyrus cheered as he turned away with Sans and Asgore.
The adults watched as the kids effortlessly summoned bones or a trident in Asgore's case. The King and Queen were surprised and impressed. They remember seeing their son practice magic with the trainers in their castle. They saw him struggle and unsuccessfully summon anything and that was two weeks ago. Now they see their son use his magic with ease and that was only a few days training with Chronos.
"Where is your eldest?" King Lorian asked as he looked at Gaster. "Why isn't he here with the boys. He's usually not too far from them from what I heard from Asgore."
Gaster gestured for the Royal Couple to follow as he made his way out of the control room. Gaster kept quiet as he moved his small group across the lab to his office where he went straight to his desk while gesturing for the two to take a seat.
"My eldest is off doing his own thing," Gaster said as he pulled a few folders from his desk and started to look through one of them. "I'm sure you'll meet him at the Royal Gathering. Even if you're both busy, you won't miss him. Chronos sticks out like a sore thumb."
The queen chuckled as the king rolled his eyes. "That was a terrible joke, even for you," King Lorian said.
"I couldn't help it, old friend," Gaster said with a slight chuckle, but he didn't look up from the file he was reading. "It was too good to pass. Anywho, what brings you to my lab? Are you changing the monthly visits to every two weeks? Or weekly?"
"No," King Lorian said. "I was trying to see your eldest as he seems to have caught my attention. I wanted to see the child my son spoke so highly of."
King Lorian and Queen Shara saw Gaster stiffen. It was very subtle, but the queen was very good at reading body language, while the king was in tuned to sensing magic. The two were a formidable foe at the negotiation table and battlefield.
"Well that's too bad," Gaster said. "You'll have to wait to meet my son. He's probably off exploring the edge of the kingdom."
"Why don't you just cut through the lies," King Lorian said as he glared at his scientist. "It's unbecoming of you to lie to the King of all Monsters. Asgore told me that your eldest son was on a dangerous trip."
