2020 stopwatch

Disclaimer, mentions human trafficking, attempted kidnapping, violence and other shit maybe...

Gordon and Georgia stumbled through the thick plant growth, they were supposed to be looking for 2 climbers who got lost and sent out a distress signal, but they couldn't find anyone! "Hey Virgil, Alan we can't find the guys, there's no sign they were ever here aside from this weird stopwatch from like 2020- oh wait, we just heard something, were heading over to see what it is" Alan nodded "FAB, be carefully guy she this seems sketchy, Virgil agrees, just don the let your guard down, ok?" Gordon's head popped in front of Georgias "FAB Abnormally tall Little brother, and abnormally large big brother!" Virgil and Alan both growled in response and Georgia started laughing "watch it abnormally short twin twerps" Virgil said menacingly, both the twins shutting up almost immediately.

Virgil had a weird feeling as the twins cut out, something seemed sketchy here... he decided it was best if he called colonel Cacy just in case "ahhh, international rescue, what seems to be the matter?" Virgil sighed "hi colonel Casey it's probably nothing, but we were called to a rescue that seems kinda sketchy, the twins are on the ground, called to help some climbers who got lost but there was nothing at the coordinates other than some weird stopwatch from 2020-" caseys face paled "Virgil get the twins out of there now, the stop watch is a sign from a human trafficking group and it is left behind at the scene each time they find a victim, they will take the twins and sell them for slavery and other horrible things, the twins being 14 will probably get sold to someone and then put up for adoption or something.... similar" Alan looked horrified, it was 10 minutes since they last checked in the twins, " Gordon, Georgia do you read?" Gordon's face popped up, georgias next to him "sup dipsticks something wrong? Wait Alan why do you look so scared?" Gordon's smirk faded as Alan's mouth opened and closed "Run. Run and don't look back, just keep running and running. GET OUT OF THERE YOUR IN-" 

Before Alan could finish the twins had started running only to stop and see 4 huge men standing in front of them, the men lunged forward and grabbed the twins who were kicking and screaming, "ALAN THEY GOT US THEY GOT US WHERE ARE THEY TAKING US ALAN, VIRGIL" there were two bangs and the comms were off...

Two bangs that sounded an aweful lot like gun shots...

Gun shots that could have just made their family smaller by 2...

Gordon and Georgia struggled to try and get loose of their attackers, they both ended up wriggling away...

And they both got shot...

Gordon had a gunshot wound in his lower chest and Georgia a non vital part of her abdomen, one of the man growled "they're to weak to continue put a bullet in one of each of their legs and we can leave them here to bleed out, destroy the watches and throw them in the river to, these two teens are useless now, let them die a slow death" two of the men readied their guns and fired, the twins screaming as the bullets go through their legs, both unable to walk now. The 4 men took their watches and ran into the forest. Once they were gone Gordon turned to his twin "Georgia we need to get into a spot were Virgil and Alan can see us, or even the GDF or other campers, even finding somewhere with a radio would be fine" Georgia nodded  "we both got a different leg shot so if we lean on each other we should be able to walk to wherever we're going" 

The pair attempted to get into a standing position, three tries later and they did, both of them put weight on their uninjured legs and started slowly towards what seemed to be a small shed around a kilometre away on a hill, it would take them a while, but it was their best option, even if it was just to find shelter. 

Little did they now the people who hurt them were watching from the background waiting for an appropriate time to snatch the teens and take them to be sold...

Up on TB2  Virgil and Alan were panicking, the GDF were on their way and so were Kayo and Scott, John was using every possible scanner to find the pair but it was no use! Casey said that the twins will have either been killed if they put up a fight, or injured then followed as they try to get away, this was not in the slightest bit reassuring.

At. All.

Now everyone was stressing about which option was chosen and if they'd get there in time.

As the twins got to the small shed they cautiously looked through windows to check for people, seeing nobody they got closer and peeked through the door, in the corner was a desk with a radio, the pair checked behind them and then around them, and seeing nobody, decided to get to the radio. It flickered to life and Gordon clicked a button, "international rescue This is Gordon and Georgia, we have find a radio but require assistance. International rescue are you there?" Johns worried voice filtered through the speaker "TWINS!? Your alive!? That mean... guys wherever you are hide, the human traffickers have been following you after they injured you, it's their strategy, your guard is down and they will strike-" right on que 4 men burst through the door and the twins screamed, "JOHN FIND US FAST" Gordon whisper yelled at the radio, john clicked off and contacted Virgil, after getting the coordinates of the radio.

"VIRGIL GET TO THESE COORDINATES NOW, THIS IS WHERE THE TWINS JUST CALLED ME FROM A FEW SECONDS AGO!" Virgil and Scott went full throttle to the coordinates and saw 2 men carrying the unconscious twins over their shoulders blood dripping everywhere, there was a sack over each of their heads and both their arms and legs were bound with a thick rope. The GdF surrounded the area, multiple personnel moving in and taking out the men, Gordon and Georgia were dropped and taken to a cruiser to get medical help, both needing stitches and blood transfusions. 

All in all it was an eventful rescue, and the twins now have a fear of stopwatches from 2020.
