Part 12 (I think); Shortnessity

A/N I KNOW IT'S BEEN A WEEK. SCHOOL SUCKS AND I'M SORRY. I HAVE NO MOTIVATION OVER THE SCHOOL WEEK. So, I have a solution. From now on I will post twice every weekend. (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) If I have extra motivation, I will post over the week.

~LIZZIE POV~

I walk out into the main hall. All I can see is Adam. I begin to walk in when my head suddenly is searing with pain. "Not now," I think, "Please not now!" I squeeze my head as I fall to my knees. I see some guards chasing me off, away from Adam to talk to him about... something. I slowly jog outside of the room, into the hall, and peek my head in. And just like I saw, a few guards soon entered the room.

" We've recently received information of a large rebel society your majesty," One spoke loud and proud. (LOL WUT) "A rebel society?" Adam spoke with a sneer. "It's run by a man by the name of Max Gonzales." I gasped and had to cover my mouth.

"Max Gonzales..." Adam mumbled, as his eyes suddenly became wide open as he realized. "I know wh--" I ran in the hall.

"ADAM!" Everyone turned to stare at me, "Chilled, uuhhhh, Chilled needs your help," I said, turning red.

"Excuse me," A guard spoke, "Can he not just figure whatever he needs help with himself?" I opened my mouth to argue but I just stuttered. 

"I may be a king, but I'm also a friend." Adam spoke, causing me to smile and forget what he almost just did. Adam stepped down from his thrown. The two guards in the back stepped to the side but the guard in front opened his mouth to speak. He hesitantly shut it and moved out of the way as well.

"What's up?" He asked as we walked into the hall. 

"What's up?" I asked, whisper-yelling. "What's up is you almost ratted out our friend Adam!" I said, now speaking up a bit more." 

"Sorry," Adam simply said, looking at the ground.

"Sorry doesn't cut it Adam! Do you know what would happen if they found Max?" He slowly looked up. 'Minx would be dead! Our friend MInx!" Adam's eyes widened. "If they didn't kill her on sight, she would never get the bourbane and she would DIE Adam!"

He looked down once more. "I really am sorry, I don't know what happened, I guess I just got into it a bit much." He looked up at me with a puppy dog-ish look. 

I sighed heavily. "It's okay, just, don't do it again, alright?"

"Alright," He said, as I turned around shaking my head as I walked back to my "sleeping quarters"

A/N I KNOW! Short update! I will have a really long chapter tomorrow, just kind of busy at the moment.
