"it's all over now boys." calum sighed. "i mean it's not all over right?" michael added. "it all started when ashton and luke decided they wanted a "normal" life." calum argued. "it gets tiring okay? give me a fucking break calum. like you'd wanna keep doing this for the rest of your life." ashton shot back. the boys weren't on good terms. but they had to suck it up to say one last goodbye to the fans. "they loved us so much and we just had to let them down." luke sighed.

"let's just go to sleep guys. we have our last interview tomorrow and we have to make it good." michael added. they all agreed and went to go get some rest in preparation for the last time 5sos will ever be together.

next day

"so how does it feel knowing that in just a few days 5 seconds of summer will be forgotten about?" the interviewer asked Luke. "i really don't know. ever since ashton and i decided to leave the band things have gone down hill but we just need some privacy." the sad boy looked down at his knees. "it makes me really sad thinking about how something i loved turned into something i hated so quickly. and i really wish that things wouldn't have to be this way for the sake of the fans and us. but things don't always go as planned and i think that it's time for the end. luke finished with tears starting to form in his eyes.

"well, that's all the time we have for today lets say goodbye now." the interviewer told the four boys.
"make them proud." ashton muttered to the boys.
"hi we're 5 seconds of summer!" they said in unison. "and we would like to say thank you for all the love and support you've ever given us, we love you lots!" calum said. "catch you on the flip side!" mikey joked to lighten the mood.

once the interview was done, life continued on as normal. ashton became a drummer for a different band, luke lived a normal life and calum and michael made a new band. but nothing was the same as 5 seconds of summer. everyone forgot about them but the memories of good times stayed in the minds of the fans and even the boys.
it was a wonderful time while it lasted, but everyone wished it would've lasted just a little longer. once a member of the 5sosfam, always a member of the 5sosfam.
