Ruby's pov:
~•at the coffee shop•~
Me and Weiss arrived at the coffee shop and we sat down at an empty table. A waitress then took our orders
"Coffee with cream and six sugars please" I said. I've always had a sweet tooth!
"Just a plain black coffee please" I heard Weiss say. The waitress then left to get our drinks. That's when I got a text from Yang.
The text: hey baby sis! Me and Blake won't be there for about a week. We have a mission. Also, you should really tell Weiss how you feel at some point today!~ Xoxo Yang x
I smiled at the text and replied.
I'll see Yang. It depends what happens today. Xx
I then looked back up at Weiss who seamed to be lost in thought. I rested my head on my arm and looked at Weiss for a moment. Then I decided to speak.
"Hey Weiss.." I said as I lightly tapped her arm. She jumped slightly but laughed afterwards.
"Yes Ruby? whats up?" She replied as she looked over to me.
"Blake and Yang won't be back for about a week. They have a mission. Yang just messaged me." I said as I showed her the message forgetting that Yang told me to tell Weiss how I feel about her.
"Ruby.. what does yang mean on the last line?" Weiss asked. I had a look at it and went a deep shade of red.
"W-well I-I urmm.. can we talk about this l-later please Weiss?" I said in a panic. Weiss just nodded and smiled. She then took a sip of her drink forgetting how hot the coffee was.
"Oww!" She wined. I made her look at me. I wiped her lower lip with my sleeve then ran my thumb over where she burnt her lip. This made Weiss blush.
"Nothing too bad Weiss. Just a little mark on your bottom lip. You need to be careful you know" I said as I slightly laughed at the last part.
"Thank you Ruby" Weiss said as she smiles. I laugh slightly.
~•about 1 hour later•~
Weiss's pov:
Me and Ruby have just finished our drinks. My lip still hurts though. I guess it was my fault for not being careful like Ruby said. I still don't know what Yang meant in that message but I acted like I forgot about it so Ruby would relax a little. She stresses over the slightest things but I'm not going to lie, I found it cute. It shows that she cares if you really think about it. Anyway, me and Ruby were walking around for a while. I enjoyed it. We must have lost track of time because the sun was starting to set. We went back to our dorm and we got changed. I was sat on my bed waiting for Ruby to get changed. It always took her so long to get changed. I didn't mind though. When Ruby came out of the bathroom, she sat next me me.
Ruby's pov;
After getting changed, I went and sat next to Weiss.
"A-about that message I-in the coffee shop..." I spoke up. Weiss just looked at me with a confused look. I continued to speak
"W-Well.. when Yang told me to tell y-you how I feel.." I took a deep breath and mentally prepared myself for rejection.
"Weiss.. I-I really like y-you.. I have for ages now.. so.. Will y-you well urmm.. b-be my g-girlfriend?" I closed my eyes ready to be rejected but it was something else.. I felt a pair of soft lips against mine. I opened my eyes to find that Weiss was kissing me. I hesitated for a moment but then I kissed her back. I couldn't believe it! Me and Weiss were kissing! Weiss pulled away from the kiss and smiled.
"Does that answer your question Ruby?" She joked.
I nodded. I couldn't believe it! Me and Weiss kisses! I finally told Weiss how I felt! It turned out so well.
