Chapter 11: Weiss goes out

Ruby's pov:

I woke up the next day but it was different.. Weiss wasn't laying next to me. I looked over at Blake and Yang and they were just sat on Blake's bed taking. I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"W-where's Weiss..?" I asked followed by a yawn
"Oh. Good morning baby sis. Weiss went out for a bit ." Yang said as she looked over at me.
"Where did she go?" I asked
"She..told us not to tell you that. But she left about half an hour ago" Blake said as she picked one of her books up. I got out of bed and went to get changed. I sat back on Weiss's bed and brushed my hair. About half an hour went by and I got a call from Weiss. I picked my scroll up and went in the corridors outside my dorm to answer. I picked up.
"Hello?" I said
"Hi Ruby. I got a quick question.. are you changed?" She asked
"Yeah.. why? What's up Weiss?" I asked
"Meet me at the coffee shop as soon as you can. I'll get you your favourite. Cream and six sugars." She said as she laughed.
"Yayy! Thank you Weiss!" I said as I jumped up and down. Weiss laughed at that.
"I love you Ruby" she said.
"I love you too Weiss" I replied
"Goodbye Ruby Rose. I'll see you soon" she said as she laughed slightly
"Same to you the one and only Ice Queen, Miss Weiss Schnee" Weiss laughed and then hung up. I put my scroll in my pocket and went back into my dorm.
"Who was that?" Yang asked
"Oh it was Weiss. She asked if I could meet her so I was just coming to tell you two that I'll be gone for a bit" I said
"Okay bye baby sis" Yang said
"Bye Ruby" Blake said as she smiled. I smiled back and then left. I met Weiss at the coffee shop. She was already inside so I went and sat with her. She was holding a few bags so I got curious.
"What's in the bags Weiss?" I asked as I tilted my head to the side
"You'll have to wait till later to find that one out now little red" Weiss said as she laughed.
"Fineeeee.. I guess I'll waittt" I said as I put my head on the table. We spoke for a bit then a waitress brought our coffee over. We thanked her then she walked away.
"Why did you want to meet anyway Weiss?" I asked
"I just wanted to get coffee with my girlfriend. Is that a problem?" She asked as a joke but I took it seriously.
"N-No not at all.. I just wondered and I'm sorry Weiss"
"Ruby it's fine. I was joking" Weiss said as she put her hand on mine. I smiled.
"Now will you tell me what's in the bags?" I asked
"Nope. You have to wait till we get back to the dorm" Weiss said.
"Don't burn your lip this time Ice queen" I joked. Weiss playfully rolled her eyes.
"I won't little red" she said as she laughed. I took a sip of my drink and Weiss was right. She got me cream with six sugars. I smiled brightly.
"You know me so well Weiss" I said. Weiss just laughed.!

•~When they get back(because I'm lazyyyy)~•

Weiss's Pov:

When me and Ruby got back to our dorm, Blake and Yang were gone. They probably went out for a bit. Me and Ruby sat on my bed and spoke for a bit. Just about classes and things like that.
"Can I know what's in the bags now?" Ruby asked.
"I suppose sooo" I said as I picked one of them up. Ruby smiles and I handed her the bag. She smiled again then opened it. Her face lit up when she saw it. It was a new cape. It was dark red that faded to white at the bottom since her other plain red one ripped during training.
"Awww Weiss!! Thank youuu!" She said as she hugged me. I hugged her back and kisses her forehead.
"It's gorgeous!!" She added.
"I'm glad you like it. I got us all one. Mine is white fade red, Yang's is yellow fade black and Blake's is black fade yellow because I think those two are going to get together soon" I said as I laid down
"Haha. Yeahhhh. They probably will. I mean they like each other so nothing's stopping them when you think about it." Ruby said as she stood up.
"Where are you going?" I asked
"Shower" Ruby said with a smile.
"Okay Ruby. Don't be too long." I said. She nodded and then went in the bathroom. I decided to study some more because I didn't get to finish it all last time.

Nearly a hour had passed and Ruby came out of the bathroom. I had my head in my book studying as normal lately. She didn't want to disturb me so she sat on her bed.
"Ruby.. you know you don't have to sit on your bed. If you're worried about disturbing me, I was just about to finish up till later." I said
"No no. It's fine Weiss. You finish that. I'm going to hang out in Pyrrah's dorm later." Ruby said.
"Well how about I pack this away and then I'll do it later when you leave?" I asked
"I guess so" Ruby said as she got down from her bed and sat with me. I packed everything away and put it on the floor next to my bed so I knew where it all was. Yang and Blake still weren't back but that was fine since it wasn't late at all. I put my head on Ruby's shoulder and she put her arm around me then smiled.
"You're a softy you know Weiss." Ruby said as she laughed slightly.
"Whatever red. I'm just being nice because you're my girlfriend and I love you" I said
"Awww Weiss" Ruby said as she smiled brightly.
I honestly mean it when I say that this girl is my whole world. I love her so much.
"I love you Ruby" I said
"I love you too Weiss!!" Ruby said as she laid down basically dragging me down with her. We both laughed at that.
"What time are you going out?" I asked as I turned on my back. Ruby checked the time. 4:30 pm.
"About an hour or so if that's alright with you of course obv-"
"Ruby it's fine honestly. Go whenever and enjoy yourself. I'll just be studying as per usual." I said. Ruby nodded and hugged me. I hugged back and kissed her cheek. Then Ruby fell asleep so I went back to studying for a bit. Nearly an hour had passed so I woke Ruby up.
"Ruby. Come on, wake up if you're going out. I said as I tapped her shoulder. She then woke up.
"Thanks Weiss" she said as she yawned. She then stood up.
"Have you been studying the whole time?" She asked. I nodded.
"Take a break. Come with me for a bit Weiss. It'll be fun!" Ruby said with a smile on her face.
"No thanks Ruby. I don't have time for fun right now. We have a test soon Ruby. I really want to do well on it so I need to study as much as I can. Sorry Ruby" I said as I looked up from my book. She sighed.
"Okay Weiss. I'll see you when I get back if you're not studying or asleep" she seemed upset. Yeah I felt bad but I was busy. She kissed my forehead then left..
I was alone.. studying.. and Ruby was gone...again...
