Chapter 20: coffee and... what..?!

Ruby's pov:

I was use to waking up really early for training so I just got changed and sat on the floor studying. About 10-15 minutes later, Weiss woke up
"What are you doing up so early Rose?" Weiss asked as she sat up.
"I'm use to waking up early to train with Pyrrah but obviously I'm not going for a bit" I said with a smile.
"I could ask you the same think Schnee" I added as she stood up.
"I had a feeling you were awake" she said as she walked over to me and sat down, putting her head on my shoulder. I put my book down and put my arm around her.
"You still tired?" I asked. She nodded and I checked the time.
"You can go back to sleep if you want. You can either stay there, go back to bed or you can do what we did yesterday" I said. Weiss's face lit up as she sat on my knee again.
"You comfortable?" I asked. Weiss nodded
"Very comfortable. Thank you Ruby" Weiss said.
"No need. Just sleep if you're tired princess" I said. Within minutes, Weiss fell asleep again.
"Enjoy your sleep. I love you Princess" I muttered under my breath as I wrapped my arms around her and smiled to myself. We stayed like that for a bit then Yang woke up.
"Comfortable there Ruby?" Yang joked as she got out of bed.
"Yes I am actually Yang. I'm surprisingly comfortable with Weiss on my knee" I said with a slight giggle
"Can you not be so loud... I'm sat right here" Weiss said followed by a yawn.
"Sorry Princess. We'll be quiet" I said as Yang walked into the bathroom.
"Good. Thanks Rose" Weiss said in a tired voice.
"You still have like 30 minutes until you need to get ready if you want to go back to sleep" I said as I rubbed her back.
"It's fine. I'll stay awake now" Weiss said not looking up at me
"You sure?" I asked. Weiss nodded.
"I'm sure Ruby. But you owe me one" she said with a giggle.
"How aboutttt... coffee after school?" I suggested.
"Sounds good. You really know what I want don't you Rose?" Weiss said in a teasing voice.
"Whatever Schnee" I said as she looked at me.
Blake woke up and looked at us. I looked back at her and shook my head.
"Good morning Blake" I said with a smile
"Nice of you to join us Belladonna" Weiss said followed by a laugh. When Yang got out of the bathroom, Blake went in since Weiss refused to get off of my knee. It was funny and...kinda cute...at the same time.
"You're gonna have to get up at some point you know Weiss" I said
"I know.. I just want to stay like this for as long as I can before I actually have to move" Weiss said with a smile. That smile soon changed to a frown.
"Hey.. what's up princess?" I asked as I cupped her cheek with my hand.
"Neptune.. he's gonna be all over me.. all week" Weiss said putting her head back down on my shoulder.
"Just ignore him Weiss" I said
"Or punch him!" Yang said as she cracked her knuckles.
"Just.. go with Ruby's idea Weiss. Don't listen to this one here" Blake said as she lightly hit Yang's arm.
"Whattt? It's only what I would do!" Yang whined
"Well Weiss isn't you" I said with a giggle. Weiss nodded as she stood up.
"I'm going to get changed now. I won't be long" Weiss said as she put her hand out for me. I took her hand and got up. She smiled and walked in the bathroom. I went a deep shade of red and looked at Yang and Blake.
"She really has you wrapped around her finger doesn't she.." Yang said as a smile grew on her face.
I nodded.
"I'm head over heels for her.. I couldn't make it more obvious without telling her and I don't know if she likes me or if she's teasing me.." I said as I looked down.
"Ruby Rose. Trust me on this one. Weiss likes you. I can just tell she likes you. She doesn't like to hide it. This is what she wants you to think." Blake said.
I smiled and nodded.
"Thanks Blake" I said
"Anytime Ruby" she replied. We spoke for a bit then Weiss came out of the bathroom. I was" still talking away not noticing that Weiss came out.
Weiss wrapped her arms around me from behind and rested her chin on my shoulder. I jumped slightly at her touch but giggled slightly when I realised it was her.
"You're a little too clingy today don't you think Schnee?" I asked.
"Nope. I can't be too clingy when it comes to you. You're too pretty" Weiss teased causing me to blush even more then I already was.
All that came from Weiss was a giggle as she let go of me.
"We should head to class now" Weiss said. We all nodded in agreement and left to go to class.
As expected, Neptune was flirting with Weiss but I wasn't expecting her to... blush! She was smiling and blushing and.. and it make me really jealous of Neptune. I couldn't tell if she was blushing because she liked Neptune or because he was complimenting her. I needed any excuse to leave but I couldn't think. My mind went blank.
"I-I'll see you in class Weiss.. I promised P-Pyrrah I would meet her before class" I said. She could tell something was wrong but she didn't want to say anything in front of Neptune.
"Alright Ruby" Weiss said as I walked away.
