White Rose (Ruby x Weiss)

chapter 23: after school

(this part of the story is now taking place with all of the characters no longer in school as they have all graduated or whatever.
Blake and Yang live in a small 2 story house in the woods out-skirting the city whereas Ruby and Weiss live in a larger 3 story house in the city. Blake and Yang have keys to Ruby and Weiss' house and Ruby and Weiss have keys to Blake and Yang's house. They are always welcome into the other homes.

Blake, Weiss, Yang: 24.
Ruby: 22.

~No ones POV:~

Weiss was around 7 months pregnant with twin girls.
The two (Weiss and Ruby) decided to name them after both of their moms.
The first born being Summer, named after Ruby's mom who passed while Ruby and Yang were very young.
The second born being Willow, named after Weiss' mom who passed not long before Ruby's 22nd birthday.

Of course, Ruby was not the biological mother to these twins as that isn't possible. She found a sperm donor that was willing to help the two out. But regardless of Ruby not being the babies' biological mom, she loved them both unconditionally.

Ruby did everything she could to help Weiss through her pregnancy. She was by Weiss' side at all times. She was there for her mood swings, her lack of energy, her bottomless hunger, etc. She tried her best to please Weiss and to keep her safe.

If Ruby did have to go out at any time to go somewhere such as the shop, she would be almost constantly messaging Weiss and making sure she was okay.

One day, Weiss noticed that all of that was causing Ruby to have a lack of sleep, of course, this made Weiss concerned for her girlfriend.

She grabbed hold of Ruby's wrist while she was getting up one day. In response, Ruby gave Weiss a strange look.
"do you need anything, Weiss?" Ruby asked.
Weiss nodded.
"well, what is it?" Ruby added.
"i need you to go upstairs and go back to bed, darling."
"But what if you need something and I-"
Weiss cut ruby off before she could finish her sentence.
"Ruby, darling, please just go back to bed. You don't have to worry about me so much. I can handle myself."

Ruby didn't bother to argue back. She said a quick
"I love you." to which Weiss replied with
"I love you too, darling."
Ruby then went upstairs and laid down on their bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

While Ruby was asleep, Weiss took matters into her own hands and tried her best to clean up the house a little, just to prove that she still had independence and that Ruby didn't always have to do everything.

A few hours later, Ruby woke up and went downstairs, only to find Weiss asleep on the sofa, looking a little uncomfortable. Ruby assumed it was because Weiss didn't want to disturb her by getting into bed next to her. Ruby let out a small sigh. Weiss didn't seem too bothered, so Ruby left her to sleep for a bit.

and look who's back and writing another chapter after god knows how long-
i apologise this chapter is really short but i'm at a friends house for the night now (it's like 2:25am here-) and i haven't had much time to write anything else-
i'm wishing y'all a happy new year and during this year, i will be trying my best to post more instead of abandoning this story again.
