Ruby Rose's pov;
I wake up in the middle of the night to hear.. crying? It sounded like it was coming from under me. Then it hit me.. Weiss! I got down from my bed and sat next to Weiss.
"Weiss?" I said in a soft tone of voice
"O-Oh..Hey Ruby.. w-what's up?" Weiss replies in a shaky type voice.
"Well I heard you crying and I was wondering what happened.."
Weiss looked at me and wiped her eyes.
"Nightmare again?" I asked the white haired beauty laying next to me.
"Mmhm" she replied with a slight nod.
She looked at me again. Her baby blue eyes put the sky to shame! I could stare into those eyes all night.
I guess I stared for a little too long because I felt her hand on my arm.
"Ruby?" She said with a tired voice
"Y-Y-yeah?!" I said as I snapped back into reality
"Shut up you dolt. You don't want to wake Yang and Blake now do you?" She replied sounding slightly mad.
"N-No.. Sorry W-Weiss.." I looked at her hand on my arm and blushes slightly. Thank god it was too dark for her to see. No one knows that I like her.. well apart from Yang (my older sister). She is the only person I told.
"Ruby.." Weiss whispered making me loose my train of thought.
"Yes ice queen?" I said in a joking tone.
"I told you not to call me that Little Red" she replied laughing slightly.
"Well I told you to stop calling me Little Red. Haha. Anyway what's up?"
"W-Well.. You may be a dolt but.. C-can you give me a hug.. l-like you did last time I had a n-nightmare..?" Weiss asked in a shy tone.
I lay next to her and wrap my arms around her. I felt her face heat up but I chose to ignore it. She couldn't be blushing. She can't like me. That's impossible. I'm just.. Ruby..
I felt her hug me back. I smiled brightly and blushes slightly.
Next thing I knew, Weiss was asleep. So this was her plan. To make me cuddle her then she can fall asleep because she knows that if I move, I'll wake her up. I just gave up and I fell asleep. I was laid next to the girl I have liked since she started being a little nicer to me.
