The apartment (Cody p.o.v)

After I sorted everything out with River I got the perfect apartment for us to rent. Even though River insisted on paying for the rent I told her it was on me. I mean to be fair I was staying with her even though she didn't want me to. I walked into the apartment with River and it actually looked nice.

Wow look at this apartment Cody it's so beautiful.

I know it looks more like a hotel than an apartment I said teasing her a little.

Haha very funny she said giving me a little playful shove. I wouldn't say a hotel but more like a nice house.

Yea I guess that works I said nodding my head.

Oh let's check out the rooms she insisted eagerly.

Then she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the living room and into the kitchen.

Oh look at the kitchen it's so nice. I hope you know how to cook she teased.

Well not really but don't worry on addition to me taking care of you and paying the rent ill also be taking you out to eat instead of cooking.

No Cody I can't let you do that she said sincerely. I'll cook I don't want you wasting all your money on me.

It's okay I'm not wasting it all on you just most of it I teased with a smirk on my face.

Then she giggled which is really cute when she does it.

Cody it's okay I don't want you to-

But then I cut her off as I grabbed her hand and pulled her into another room which was a bedroom.

Oh look at this room River isn't it pretty!?

Oh wow yes it's so pretty she said as she gazed around the room. Then she limped over to the bed and hopped up on it. Oh my gosh This bed is so big and so comfortable!!! Cody you have to come lay on this bed she said excitedly.

So I walked over to the bed and laid down on it. Oh wow you were right this bed is so comfortable. I hope that I get a comfortable bed I said as I stood up.

Oh I'm sure your bed will be just as comfortable as mine is she said as she hopped of the bed then walk over to me. Then she grabbed my hand and ran to the next room which was the bathroom.

It was a medium sized bathroom I would say. Big enough for probably four people.

So after we looked at that we realized that was all the rooms. So basically there wasn't a second bedroom or bed so I would have to sleep in Rivers room.

So I guess ill have to sleep on the floor tonight since there's not another bedroom or bed.

No Cody I can't let you do that your already paying for the apartment dinner and your taking care of me.

Okay so where do I sleep then?

On some pillows and blankets on the ground she said with a little giggle.

Oh okay that's so much better I teased.

I was just joking she said and gave me another little playful shove. You'll be sleeping in the bed.

Wait I though you said you didn't want to sleep in the bed with me cause it would be weird.

Oh I'm not sleeping in the bed ill be on the pillows and blankets on the floor. So you can be comfortable.

No River I can't let you do that I'm going to sleep on the floor while you sleep on the bed.

No I'm sleeping on the grou-

No your sleeping on the bed I said cutting her off.

Okay whatever you want she said ending the argument. Can we go get diner though I'm hungry she said then pointed to her stomach which made a little growling sound.

Okay let's go I said leading her outside as I locked the door behind me then we got in the car and went to eat.
