Bed time (Cody's p.o.v)

We got back to the house and went to bed cause after that diner we were both just really tiered. River got into her bed and curled up. I laid down some pillows and blanket then tried to go to sleep. It was very restless on the floor and I wasn't falling asleep any time soon. So I got up and looked at the clock 2:30 it read. Man it was really late/early and I still hadn't fallen asleep yet so I went over to River and whispered,

Hey river are you awake? No answer so I tried again. Pssssst River are you awake? This time I said in a normal voice. Still no answer so I took the chance and crawled into the bed. I knew it was going to feel a little weird sleeping with my friend who's a girl but whatever. At least I could fall asleep. Then River turned over and started crying. I knew she was probably going to wake up so I got out of bed and threw myself on the floor pretending like I was asleep. Then River screamed and her eyes flashed open.

Cody!? she said half in tears the other half looking terrified

Yea? I said looking like I had just woke up

I had a terrible dream that Tris and Caleb died and I was all by myself. she said and burst into tears

It's okay the dreams over now don't worry. I said getting up and comforting her. then starting to get back to the ground to sleep

Wait will you sleep with me!? She said grabbing my arm

Yes I will. I said relived that she asked then I got up and laid with her and before we knew it we were both asleep.
