COLLAPSE.

In some way, every single game means natural selection. And everyone knows what it means, the weak dies and the strong remains as a lone victor. That's how the games are supposed to be, and how they almost always end up, unless there are exceptions, like people outsmarting the strongest ones, or just the luckiest ones remaining.

But this time, natural selection is no joke. Sean's theory is more than right. If the strongest don't get the weakest first, if they don't become prey, they will die by themselves.

But this isn't just about the strongest and weakest. This is about the smartest and dumbest as well, which is what scares me the most.

The arena is filled with tricks and traps and things that may not be real. The arena itself is a trick.

After staring at the now empty cornucopia for a few minutes, we decide to leave and head to the 'city'. If this is a trick, or not real, it's the first thing we are going to find out and we can get this done with.

We enter the city section, which is next to the jungle section. It looks just like the capitol, but with no people whatsoever. The tall, glass buildings seem intimidating, and I don't get what purpose other than being a trap would they have.

"Concrete jungles, huh?" Phanuel says while Aquor lets out a scoff.

There's nothing much to explain about the city. It's empty, it looks like the capitol, there is no apparent purpose. Maybe shelter? But it would be too easy, and people would certainly have to be dumb to head here for shelter, unless you are extremely intelligent and decide to actually stay here, since most people would just figure out this is a trap. Maybe it isn't even a trap at all. I'm simply confused. I don't know what to expect.

"Let's entre a building to see what's inside. I wouldn't mind sleeping on a bed." Aquor says. Every single one of us complains, except for Sean.

"He's right. Let's see what's inside and get this done with. If it's a trap we will know about it and avoid this area." Sean speaks in a way that makes it seem like he is the superior one in the group. I don't know why Aquor choose to be the apparent leader, when Sean is the smartest one, by far. While we all waste our time complaining and wondering why, he finds a way to explain and act.

We decide to explore the very second building next to the jungle section. The pavement blends with the grass of the jungle while the buildings face it. If something goes wrong, we can run straight to the jungle.

Aquor kicks open the first glass door, and the glass doesn't even break. The open door reveals literally nothing; it's empty. There's nothing here other than glass walls that let you see the outside, a floor and a roof. You've got an elevator and two staircases, and that's it.

"What the fuck..." Vaiana says while she is the first one to walk inside. I follow her and there is nothing. The only thing there is is apparently an internal heating system, because it's warm.

"This is ridiculous. There must be something here, why else would a city have a whole section for itself if there is nothing to do?" Phanuel asks, wandering through the empty room. It looks smaller in the inside, because it probably is.

"Why don't we go upstairs?" I suggest. Aquor decides to take the lead and heads to the elevator.

"Are you dumb? We don't even know if the elevator works. Let's take the stairs." Vaiana complains. Aquor seems to respect her, since he just nodded at her and ran to the staircase. If it had been me the one who made the comment he would be rolling his eyes and making fun of me.

Vaiana follows after him and so does Phanuel. I take a look at Sean, who is aimlessly looking around, thinking apparently. He notices me staring and he heads to the staircase, and I follow behind. "Nothing." Aquor says after ascending to the first floor.
