"How are you so tired already only after working for four days?" Seongwha asks Soojung, who is groaning while dragging herself out of bed. "I don't want to get screamed at by a customer again" she whines, flinching at the memory of the woman's red face from yesterday.
"I've never seen you like this" Yeosang pitches in. "But Sangie, she said I was so cheerful it annoyed her" she pauses. "How would you react to that?"
"Certainly not the same way San did" The twins shudder at the memory of the very angry San from the day before. He had lost his temper and threatened the woman, who would definitely never shop there again.
Seonghwa shakes his head, half expecting San to have snapped. Especially when it comes to Soojung.
"You'll be fine, especially with the owner of the store to protect you. Now go before you give San and Wooyoung a reason to scream at you too!" he hurries them along. Soojung slightly winces at the thought of getting onto San's bad side, so she hops out of bed quickly and dashes into the bathroom.
"I'd rather get stomped on by San in heels than hear Wooyoung throw a tantrum again" Yeosang grimaces, finally earning a laugh from Seonghwa.
"I'll have breakfast ready downstairs for when you're ready then!" he cheerfully declares before exiting.

Soojung exhaustedly stares at her brother restock the baked goods. It had only been four hours of work but she already feels drained. Suddenly a crashing noise from the storage room behind her wakes her up.
"Is everything okay in there?" She asks while cautiously approaching the door. Just as she's about to pop her head around the corner, a firm chest appears, causing her to bump her forehead into it.
She slowly trails her eyes up the black turtle-necked shirt and finds San's head on the top. He grins down at her and wiggles his finger back and forth. "Don't be too nosy!" he brightly yet playfully warns, tapping the tip of her nose.
She finds herself heating up, and as soon as she realises that her head is still practically stuck to his chest she hops back. San notices and before she gets a chance to turn around again, he pulls her in for a hug.
"Why are you running away? Do I smell bad?" He teases. After glancing around and realising that there are no customers at the moment, she returns the hug, wrapping her arms around onto his stiff back muscles.
"I just don't want to get into trouble again" she whimpers into his top, still feeling afraid of her new job.
Pulling away from the hug, San grabs her shoulders with his big hands. "Remember what I said yesterday? I'll always protect you. If anyone screams at you again I'll make sure they regret it" he smiles warmly, bringing a sense of comfort to the girl.
He suddenly screams into the store, "Yeosang! Come here for a few minutes!"
Soojung shoots him a puzzled look. Ignoring her, he waits for Yeosang to arrive. A few seconds later, the twins are both gathered.
"The store can wait for a few minutes, come to the storage room with me first." He gestures to the door right beside him, and after sharing a confused glance, the siblings open the door.
It's dark but the faint light from the store illuminates the room in the slightest. Soojung notices a crouched sillhouette of a man. "Wooyoung?" she whispers, feeling daunted.
All of a sudden, the lights flicker on and in front of the twins is a cute little chocolate cake with small strawberries decorating it. "Surprise!" Wooyoung and San scream together with jazz hands towards the cake.
A squeal escapes Soojung's lips as she bounces up and down. "What's this for?" she questions.
"It's to celebrate your first working week at the shop! It's also first full week since we met, so happy week-iversary!" Wooyoung announces.
"Happy week-iversary" San also joins in, laughing along.
Yeosang and Soojung clap, genuinely impressed by their actions. Is it normal for people to celebrate every little thing on Earth? I thought cakes were only for birthdays? How cute, Soojung thinks.
"I'll have some cake later, so you guys enjoy yourselves for a bit while I look after the store." San says, barely going noticed by anyone except for Soojung. "Thank you!" She beams, waving at him as he leaves.
He walks over to the till, letting out a deep sigh. He gets prepared to enter dreamland again, with Soojung's excited face running through his mind.
The sound of the door opening alerts him, causing him to straighten up and clear his throat.
"Hi, welcome- damn. Are you okay?" San asks, taken aback by his new customers, one of them appearing to be quite hurt.
One man is limping while using the other man as support. His leg is exposed, showing off the gruesome injury on his ankle.
"We're fine, could you just tell us where he nearest hotel would be?" The older looking man asks, looking weary. His hair is extrememly messy and sweat glistens on his forehead.
San glances at the younger's ankle and hesitates. "There's a hotel if you go down that road and turn right, but on your way there you'll see a hospital. I recommend going to that first." San gestures towards the road, a fake worried expression painting his face. "By the way, what happened? You look like you've been travelling- where to? I could help" San offers, trying his best to gain some new aquaintances. They could prove to be useful in the future.
"I don't think you need to know much more than that we're looking for two people. Thanks for your help though" The older says, growing worried by the younger who seems to be in immense pain.
"I know pretty much everyone that lives nearby, what are their names?" San asks.
The older takes a deep breath, and glances at the younger momentarily. The younger man's eyes light up at newfound hope and he eagerly nods at the older. The older's straight face doesn't falter one bit, but he finally responds.
"Kang Soojung and Kang Yeosang."
