San freezes after hearing the two names enter his ears. He stops for a second to think. What if these people mean harm? Can I trust them?

He secretly looks over his shoulder to the storage room, imagining the bright smile on Soojung's face. No, he can't risk losing that.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I've heard of those names unfortunately. They must be from somewhere outside Wonderland. What are your names? If I see them I'll tell them you guys were looking for them."

The younger quickly perks up, immediately regretting it as he hisses in pain. "My name is Choi Jongho and this is Kim Hongjoong. If you see them, please tell them Jongho was looking for them." he rushes through clenched teeth, the discomfort from his leg getting to him.

San flashes his attractive smile again. "Sure thing! I hope you get well soon! I'm Choi San by the way!" he waves them off. They reveal a small smile with a nod before turning around. As soon as he's sure they're gone, his shoulders slump again. He wonders what they want. The older man, Hongjoong, didn't seem near as excited as Jongho was to find the twins.

"San! If you're not busy then come get a slice!" He hears Soojung's muffled voice through the door, easing him of his stresses. He decides to not mention those two men to her, well not yet anyways.

He turns around after one last glance around the store and retreats back into the storage room, walking in on the sight of his friends enjoying themselves, with only one small slice of cake left.

"Here, we left you a slice!" Soojung presents the cake to him on a plate, eyes twinkling with delight. A smile grows on San's lips. "I want some, but only if it's fed to me" He wiggles his eyebrows at the girl, as she shrinks back shyly.

He leans in and opens his mouth wide, closing his eyes in the process. He waits for the cake to be gently placed in his mouth by Soojung's delicate hands. To San's displeasure, the next thing he feels is the slice of cake being violently shoved into his mouth, nearly causing him to choke in the process.

His eyes quickly open, only to find Yeosang in front of him, wiping his hands from chocolate cake. "There, it was fed to you like you wanted." He walks off with a straight face, revealing a shrugging Soojung behind him. San uncomfortable swallows the crushed cake and clears his throat. "L-let's get back to work then."

"Oh, is that so?" Seonghwa listens to Soojung intently as she explains the events of her day to him with Aurora on her lap. It had become a routine for Soojung to talk to Seonghwa after work every day, as it proved to be benificial for her as well as Seonghwa.

"Yeah! It was so funny when Sangie fed some chocolate cake to San too." Soojung continues. Seonghwa raises an eyebrow. "I'm guessing you didn't realise that San hates chocolate then?"

"That doesn't make sense, he said he wanted some...if I fed him."

Seonghwa lets out a laugh. "Well then that makes much more sense. He ate some just for you." A knowing smile dances upon Seonghwa's lips.

"No, I'm sure he just felt really hungry" she replies.

He shakes his head and sits back, still smiling.

Suddenly, an idea pops into Soojung's head. "Seonghwa, could you teach me how to cook something? I want to treat San for getting that cake for us!" she excitedly beams. "I suppose I could teach you how to make...cookies?"

A puzzled look washes over her face. "What does-" "Follow me" Seonghwa interrupts her while standing up, already predicting what she's going to ask.

"You're lucky I baked them yesterday, and you're even luckier I hid some from Mingi and Yunho so they wouldn't eat them all in one go." He says while pulling out a plate from the cupboard. He slowly peels off the alluminium foil that covers the plate, releasing a sharp crinkling sound. As soon as the cookies are visible, Soojung's mouth waters again.

"They're just ordinary chocolate chip cookies but I've been told they're still really good. Try some!" he stretches his arm that's holding the plate out to the girl, and she carefully picks up the cookie. She gets slightly startled when some dry crumbs shower onto the plate from her cookie. Initially thinking the dessert would be soft like cake, she feels flustered.

She takes a small nibble from it and to her surprise, it's sweet! The crumbly texture fools her as the cookie immediately starts to melt in her mouth. It's an exhilarating experience for her senses as the flurry of textures from the simple food dance around in her mouth. She bites into a chocolate chip and a wide grin shows itself onto her face.

"This is perfect!" she squeals, quickly taking another bite, followed by another. "I recommend lemon cookies though, San loves lemon flavoured things." he advises.

So he likes lemons...

After running a taste test on a few other types of cookies, Soojung concludes that lemon flavoured would be the best idea, just as Seonghwa had recommended. "You should go on a picnic beside the lake or at the park to give this stuff to him, that way you'd really enjoy it too." he suggests after they're both finished tiring themselves out.

"P-picnic?" she asks, confused as usual.

"It's when you go outside and and eat! Usually everyone makes something to contribute, but it could be just two people or even a huge group if you wanted. If you have a picnic when the weather's nice, you can enjoy the scenery too! I think you'd find that he most benificial" he explains. Soojung can't deny that she's falling in love with the idea, so she quickly agrees.

"That sounds perfect! Teach me how to make as many sweet things as you can before Friday. I want to surprise San with a picnic! Do you think he'd like that?" she innocently asks.

Seonghwa smiles to himself again, thinking back to how San has changed after meeting Soojung.

"He'll definitely like that."
