Soojung stares at herself in the long mirror in her room nervously. She turns slightly to look at her plain red dress in a different angle. It's a small dress, the bottom hugging the top of her thighs tightly while the straps are very thin. A lot of her chest is exposed, and she tries to ignore the soft breeze from the window brushing off her exposed skin uncomfortably.

"I still think that dress is too short." Yeosang walks in to the room, arms crossed. His biggest problem with the dress is the fact that San  is the one who gifted it.

The plan for tonight is that while Seonghwa is at work, Wooyoung is going to come over to spend time with Yeosang and San is going to bring Soojung out. He's told everyone that the pair are going to a fancy restaurant, however only Soojung knows the truth.

"I think it's pretty, don't worry too much!" she reassures her brother. "Fine, also remember to not stay out too late." he reluctantly says.

Before Soojung can respond again, they hear the sound of the doorbell ring throughout the house. The twins share a glance before they both quickly sprint down the stairs.

They open the door to Wooyoung wearing a bright yellow jacket standing beside San who's wearing all black, as usual. His clothes seem neat and he wears glasses, giving him a sophisticated look. His slicked back hair only adds to his charm.

While Wooyoung and Yeosang embrace, San's eyes travel up and down Soojung. She finds her cheeks start to quickly match the colour of her dress as she hides her face in embarrassment. "No need to hide darling, you look absolutely beautiful" San breathes, staring at her bursting with adoration.

"You look really handsome too" She mutters sheepishly. He suddenly grabs her around the waist, holding her close. "We should go now if we want to make it in time for the reservation." He smiles to Wooyoung and Yeosang, who completely forgot about everything else around them.

"Have fun!" Wooyoung joyfully says. "Oh, we will." San smirks, but only Soojung catches it. When the pair have stepped out into the cold night, San firmly shuts the door behind him.

As soon as he's sure the coast is clear, he takes off his glasses and unbuttons the top two buttons of his shirt, and then he slightly messes up his hair. "This feels much better." he lets out a sigh of relief and ignores Soojungs wide eyes staring at him, completely mesmerised.

Sneakily, he interlinks their fingers while they walk. "W-what are you-"

"You're my girlfriend now, I'm allowed to do this right?" he asks, raising an eyebrow. A warm feeling blossoms in the girl's chest. Oh yeah.

She doesn't respond with words, but by just simply tightening her grip on his hand. With a satisfied smile, they continue to walk side by side.

Eventually they reach a large house with faint music coming from it. Even though all the curtains are drawn, colourful lights can still be seen seeping through the cracks.

"It takes no genius to figure out that we're here." San utters. Before they open the door, Soojung stop them from moving. "I haven't been to a party before, so please take care of me." She timidly asks, looking at her red sandals rather than San's expression.

She expects him to be laughing at her but instead he smiles warmly. "Of course I'll take care of you, you're my princess now after all." he leans down to face her. After she lifts her eyes, he instantly pecks her lips before straightening up again.

The couple enter through the door, Soojung still extremely flustered after that small kiss.

While she's still dazed, a woman approaches them.

"Sannie! Welcome to my party! I missed you, how've you been? And who's...this?" The woman throws Soojung a dirty look but then comes closer and closer to San. For once he steps back and flashes a disgusted look on his face. "I've been doing great with my girlfriend here." he pulls Soojung closer to him for further emphasis.

She laughs loudly. "You? And a girlfriend? Who are you trying to fool?" she spits. San's glare turns much, much darker quite abruptly. "For your own good, keep your distance Eunha." he scowls before walking past her with Soojung, shoving Eunha in the process.

"That was one of my exes, Eunha. This is her party but I'd stay away from her if I were you, she's quite toxic and possessive. She was the only one I had to leave instead of the other way around." San explains into Soojung's ear since the music and chatter is too loud.

She glances behind his shoulder and sees Eunha staring at San with venom in her eyes and instantly understands. "Should we go get a drink?" San asks the girl. "Sure." she agrees brightly, not fully understanding what exactly he means.

They walk over to the kitchen where a wide assortment of drinks are spread out over the table. Since the party only recently started, it's not too messy yet and San sighs out of relief at this. He grabs two cups, but hesitates while grabbing a clear bottle.

"Do you drink much?" He asks, although he can already sense what her answer will be. "I do, don't worry! Dehydration can be dangerous." she proudly shows off her knowledge. San smiles warmly, slightly baffled by her pure answer. He puts the glass bottle back down, reaching for a simple bottle of sprite instead. "Why don't I show you a drink you've probably never tried before?" he offers, pouring it into a cup.

"Sure!" she gladly accepts the cup, observing it closely. San's heart flutters as he watches her. He feels as if the loud music suddenly gets blocked out, and all he can see or hear is the girl in front of him. Somehow even wearing a dress like that, she appears to be adorable.

"You shouldn't take drinks from strangers so easily like that." he says, still slightly dazed. "Okay, but I trust you!" she exclaims cheerfully. Once again, San's heart thumps much harder at the beauty in front of him. He smiles once again, but it doesn't last very long as soon as his eyes flicker over her shoulder.

His heart rate quickens and but for a different reason.

What are they doing here?
