San's heart stops as the events unfold in front of him. As soon as Soojung's body hits the floor, Eunha's follows straight after. They both loudly thud onto the wooden bottom of the shed.

San quickly scurries to Soojung's body. He holds her and cradles her close to his chest and cries loudly. Her unmoving body squeezes against San's while he lets the waterfall pour out of his eyes.

All of a sudden, the door flings open revealing Hongjoong, Yunho and Mingi. Their eyes widen when they see the mess in front of them.

"I'll call the police!" Mingi jumps and runs out of the shed as quickly as he can.

"I'll call the doctor!" Yunho also dashes out.

Hongjoong stares with disbelief at San sobbing uncontrollably, holding Soojung's limp body. His eyes then travel down to the girl who's collapsed near the door. He takes a deep breath and carefully removes the gun from her hand, placing it on a shelf.

Next, he runs over to San and Soojung. He doesn't say a word, but places his finger under her nostrils to check if she's breathing. He lets out a sigh of relief when he feels air coming out, although it is weak.

"Are you okay?" He asks calmly, placing a hand on San's shoulder.

"I'm f-fine but S-Soojung-" He continues to sob.

"Everything will be okay." Hongjoong comforts San with his calming tone, lightly embracing him in a hug.

Soojung's body burns with piercing pain. She wants to open her eyes but she's scared. What if Eunha gets mad that she's awake again? What if she shoots San? For San's safety, Soojung toughs it out and keeps her eyes firmly shut, still pretending to be asleep.

She moves her finger slightly, only to be met with scorching agony.

"You idiot."

Yeosang's voice? Did she take Yeosang too? Soojung's heart beat quickens as she imagines what horrible things Eunha could be doing to her brother right now.

"I know you're awake, so open your eyes." She hears his voice softly call out again.

"Is it safe?" She quietly mumbles.

"Yes, you're in the hospital right now. Eunha was taken to jail."

She calms down a bit and opens her eyes. Yeosang is sitting beside her. She notices tear marks down his face, indicating that he was crying not too long ago.

"Did you get hurt?" She asks. "You should worry about yourself! How are you feeling?" He responds with a question back.

"I'll be fine. What about San?"

Yeosang straightens up in his chair. "Eunha didn't hurt him, but he's still recovering from his previous wounds. When he went to find you, he ended up hurting himself more." Soojung stares blankly at the ceiling.

At least he will be okay.

"I told you Earth is dangerous. Why did you follow a stranger anyway?" Yeosang stresses once again. As soon as he got the news about his sister, he left work and instantly went to see her. Anxiety was eating him up for hours after he heard about exactly what had happened.

"She seemed nice. Even though she threatened me a few times." She explains herself. Yeosang face palms. "You have a lot to learn then."

"There's no point in learning anything now, we'll all be heading home soon anyway. And no, I don't mean Seonghwa's house." Hongjoong's stern voice travels through the room as he enters.

"What do you mean?" Soojung's voices comes out shaky as she widens her eyes in panic.

"I'm glad to see that you're feeling better!" Hongjoong's face brightens up suddenly. Soojung's face twists in confusion when she realises that Hongjoong avoided her question. Yeosang reacts differently, however. His looks down and takes a few deep breaths. This doesn't go unnoticed by his sister and she starts to grow more worried.

"I said not to go!" A panting Seonghwa bursts through the door. "How did you find me?" Hongjoong asks, ignoring the statement that left him a few seconds ago.

"I have my ways. You can't expect to sneak out of my house without me noticing. Why do you still want to go back to that place even after seeing what it's like here?" Seonghwa's voice wavers as tears pool in his eyes.

Hongjoong looks away before he can also tear up at the sight of Seonghwa. He lets out a deep sigh. "That's exactly why I want to leave. I want to bring us all back after seeing what goes on down here. I've only been here for barely a week and two of your friends are already hospitalised. That's enough of a reason." He explains.

Yeosang sits quietly watching the two argue, but in his head are many thoughts whirling around.

"I don't think it's a good idea to go back either." Yeosang mutters. Soojung and Seonghwa gasp as they whip their heads around to face him. A large smile grows on his sister's face. "I knew you'd end up liking it here!"

"I'd like to hear your reasoning then. Your beloved sister is lying on a hospital bed beside you and you still think it's safe?" Hongjoong directs the question to Yeosang.

He looks at his sister's face, not missing the large white bandage wrapped around her head. His heart aches at the sight, even while she shoots him a slight smile. He looks back to Hongjoong firmly and straightens his expression again.

"It's not safe here at all. But I read somewhere that incidents like this are really rare. I think this is a risk we're all willing to take to escape from the suffocation we felt back at heaven." He states.

The image of Wooyoung's face enters his mind and he smiles warmly while shyly looking down to his hands. "Plus, we've made human friends now that we cannot leave."

Hongjoong bites his lip out of stress. "Do you guys know how much trouble I'll get into if I go back empty handed?" He paces around the room, still chewing his lip aggressively.

He stops when a larger figure wraps their arms around him from behind. "Then don't go back." Seonghwa's voice soothingly breathes into Hongjoong's ear.

His face starts to grow red quickly as he jumps away. "Don't scare me like that!" He complains while looking away. "Do you have anyone to go back to? Any reason to go back to heaven?" Seonghwa asks after giggling at the flustered Hongjoong. "Forget about your job for a minute."

The shorter stops moving and starts to think more. He had no one. Ever since Seonghwa left, he has always been missing him, not sparing even a minute for anyone else. "I only have you." He whimpers.

Seonghwa smiles softly again. "Then why not stay here? We can finally be together." He takes a step forward and stares his rays of sunshine into Hongjoong's eyes. Just like sweet ice cream on a summer's day, Hongjoong's heart melts too.

He hesitantly looks down to the golden anklet chained around his leg. The only thing that's keeping him an angel right now. The only thing that can bring everyone back to their previous homes. Should he succumb to his humane emotions and stay? Or should he blank his mind and be a responsible guard, like he always does?

He glances around the room and sees everyone's hopeful expressions. Maybe being a human isn't so bad after all...

After one last deep breath, he removes the anklet.

Sorry that this chapter was a bit long and boring (⌒_⌒;) I didn't have any inspiration so I tried to write some of the chapter to become inspired, and then suddenly I got a boost of inspiration about three quarters of the way through so it's a mess (TヘT) But anyway it broke my heart when I realised this but...the story is dangerously close to ending :( I made myself sad with that thought and hope none of you feel that sad though! (⌒▽⌒)♡
