" My motivation may seem trivial compared to yours, but I can't lose either. "
- M. I.

To assemble furniture untill three am was a terrible decision, lightly put, but a fair share of laugh evened the scales when she walked down, 3:12 am to find Kaminari, Kirishima, Mina, Sero, Uraraka, Todoroki, Deku, Tsuyu, Hagakure and Shoji - which was basically half the class, dressed up in onesies and half assed cosplays, their show paused and they scaterred around the shared space buzzing with conversations.

She stopped at the bottom of the staircase just taking in what the heck was happening.

On the kitchen counter Mina, Uraraka, Hagakure and Shoji were having some kind of a heated discussion, apparently about ships. Uraraka scratched her pointed elvish ears while Hagakure was munching on popcorns from one of Shoji's hands. There were snacks for a whole army right there.

Midoriya, Todoroki, Sero and Kaminari were having a discusion of their own regarding the plot and from what little had Satsuko heard they were spiraling hard, borderline creating fanfiction.

Tsuyu and Kirishima, most peaceful of all, were calmly drinking tea sitting on some cushions on the floor.

- Hey, I thought it's movie night. What is this, debates club?

Tsuyu turned to Satsuko first, awkwardly smiling:

- Bakugo ruined it.
- It was me and Kaminari actually. Don't pin it on him!

Tsuyu shrugged her shoulders and slurped her tea, leaving Kirishima to explain. Satsuko eyed them suspiciously, giving the screen a quick glance, only to notice they are watching Game of Thrones.

- Are you legit pausing at one of the best moments? The audacity.

- You like Game of Thrones?

- I've read the books. I didn't wait for them to be translated in Japanese so I am good to go, as soon as Martin writes the rest of the story.

Announced by the creak of the stairs, Momo came down with a box of tea bags, followed by the other new student, Shinsou.
- I brought more tea!

Satsuko had met Shinsou on one of the exams - since there were regular subjects, and some special tests for enrolling in the hero course and she had to take all, Shinsou on the other hand had his grades ro support him so once or twice they met. No less, no more. Barely knew each other, both enrolled late, and yet - he seemed to be better off than her.

Kirishima had tilted his head curiously, kind of like a puppy, as Tsuyu stood up to make the tea. What surprised Satsuko was her grabbing a pot.
