Chapter 6

I walk into the living room and I see my dad,Pepper and Steve talking about something. "Oh good Mia you're here we need help planning the Halloween party" Steve says I sit on the love seat.

"Ok what's the theme this year?" I ask "Haunted house" Pepper says.

"Ok so what we can do it in the entrance to the building we can have fake chains coming from the ceiling and fake blood dripping from the walls. Once they walk onto this floor we can have fake candles hanging by the ceiling with fishing line so they can't see. We can also hang creepy dolls by their head on the ceiling. Then once they get here into this area we can put up a glow in the dark banner that says turn back now. Once they come in BAM its a blacklight party with cobweb mummies hanging down from the ceiling and a buffet of creepy looking food and fake ghost light projector things" I say smiling

"And that's why you're on decor duty. I'll do invites,Pepper you do catering and Steve you prepare the stuff for the costume contest. Also Mia invite your friends from school I don't want you to be the only teenager there." My dad says I nod my head.

I get ready and head to the Halloween store to pick up all the decorations and some props for my Halloween costume. After I grab all the decorations I find a fake whip and a staff I grab those and check out.

I get in the car with Happy I have about twenty five bags full of decorations.

Happy and I struggle to get the decorations inside the tower. Once we get inside we drop the bags on the living room floor.

I quickly grab the two props for my costume and hide them under my bed. I never let anyone know what I'm being for Halloween one so I can't get yelled at by my dad and having to change my costume and two for the past five years in a row I have won the Halloween costume contest and if I show my costume I know that someone will steal my idea.

Yes I know it's stupid but I ALWAYS go full out on Halloween.

I text the groupchat that MJ,Ned,Peter and I have. 'Hey guys Halloween party at my house on Halloween night it starts at 7 see you there' I text then I lock my phone and place it on the charger. This was going to be fun.
