Chapter 23

I wake up next to Joesph the memories from last night running through my brain.

I see many missed calls and texts from Peter I ignore them all.

I walk downstairs into the kitchen I see his mom making breakfast.

"Good morning Mia when did you get here?" She asks flipping a pancake "I slept over last night" she gives me a confused look "It's complicated" I say she nods.

"Well sweetie since your here would you like some pancakes and coffee?" She asks "That would be fantastic thank you" I say smiling.

She hands me a plate full of pancakes and a few minutes later she hands me a mug full of coffee. "Thank you" I say smiling "Of course sweetheart" she smiles I eat my breakfast and eventually Joesph walks downstairs.

"Morning Mia" he says I wave stuffing my face with pancakes. He laughs.

My phone goes off again its my dad.

I pick it up "Hey dad" I say with a mouthful of pancake "Hey where are you? May texted me telling me that Peter was upset because you left last night" he says I roll my eyes "Oh um Peter and I had a disagreement I got upset and Joesph picked me up when none of you where picking up the phone" I say still salty that I was standing at a freezing street corner at 3am because no one would pick up the damn phone.

"I'm sorry sweetheart my phone was on silent. I'm glad your safe we will talk once you get home" he says and I agree then I hang up.

"So what happened last night?" Ms.Ross asks I tell her everything that happened and she was shook.

"I always thought Peter was such a nice boy.  It doesn't make sense why he would think that I mean you are an amazing girl and I know that you would never do anything like that" she tells me and I shrug.

"I have to get home I know my dad wants to talk to me" I say they both know and I Uber back to the tower.

Once I get inside I walk to my room as fast as I can and I lock the door.

I grab some sweatpants and a tank top then I go into the bathroom to shower.

I cry in the shower because I hate people when people see me cry.

Once I'm done having an episode I get out of the shower and put on my clothes.

I blow dry my hair and put it in a messy bun. I walk into the living room and everyone looks at me.

"Yes?" I ask rudely they all look away. I walk over to the fridge and grab a donut from the box.

"That's min-" I hear Thor say but then someone slapped him "Stupid mortals" he mumbled.

"Hey you ok kiddo?" Steve asks I nod and walk back into my room.

I sit on my bed and watch YouTube on my laptop.

I hear a knock at my door.

"Come in" I say and I see Natasha, Wanda and Pepper all huddled by my doorway.

"Hey sweetheart you doing ok?" Pepper asks sitting next to me on my bed the other girls do the same.

"Yeah" I say "What happened kiddo?" Natasha asks I sigh then I explain everything.

"So basically Peter thinks you are cheating on him with Joesph but Joesph is gay?" Wanda asks and I nod.

"I'm sorry sweetheart. Boys can be so stupid. I think you should talk to Peter about it." Pepper tells me "I wouldn't have married your father if we didn't talk out our problems" she adds.

"Yeah and you're only in high-school if you don't work out with the kid you have many years ahead of you to be with so many other boys" Natasha says. "Exactly so when your ready. Call Peter and talk it out with him I'm sure you will work things out." Wanda says and they all leave my room.

After they leave I lock my door and play some calm music I had a lot to think about.
