It's Friday again.
Jimin needs to attend the Advanced Class. He's planning to skip it but Dahyun tells him to go.
"I'll be fine, Jimin," she tells him. "You should never missed your classes."
He sighs. "Fine," he finally gave in. "But if something bad happens again, don't hesitate to send me a text." He gets his phone and was about to ask for her number.
"I... I forgot my phone," she said. "I actually don't bring it with me in school."
"Why?" Jimin can't seem to understand why would she not bring one, knowing that it's a necessary stuff to always bring.
The truth is, Dahyun turned her phone off so she'll stop receiving calls and texts from her family.
It's not that she's cutting the communication with them, she just wants to have an alone time.
She already knows what they will tell her. They'll surely tell her to go back home, which she doesn't want to do for now.
She's determined to graduate here in Seoul and find herself a stable job, so her family will no longer struggle to live.
"I actually broke it," she lied, hoping that Jimin will believe her. "I dropped it while preparing to go to school. I tried to fix it but it won't open."
"Hmm, I see," he said, believing her. "I'm glad you said that to me. We will do something about that later."
Wait, what does he mean?
"For now, you should go inside now," he ushered her to get inside the classroom. "We'll eat lunch together, okay?"
She nodded. "I'll wait for you outside the cafeteria," she said.
Jimim smiled at him then bade her goodbye.
It's been four days since the last time she interact with Taehyung. Nothing else follows anymore.
He's not bothering her.
He really did what he told her. That it'll be the last time he'll talk to her.
He's spending more time with his circle of friends, who used to be Jimin's friends too. But she caught them still casually talking to Jimin when Taehyung and Minhee are not around.
They're Hoseok and Yoongi.
Hoseok seems like the friendly one. He often greets Dahyun at the hallways and greets her a good morning every day when she enters their room.
Yoongi seems like the serious guy. He's quiet and a bit intimidating. But he and Jimin are quite closer. Jimin tells her that Yoongi is like a big brother to him.
Too sad that their friendship is put at risk because of the feud between Taehyung and Jimin. And the person at fault is quite enjoying what she did.
Minhee is always with Taehyung. Wherever he goes, she's always there. She's like Taehyung's shadow.
Dahyun sighs. Maybe this is the right thing to do. To avoid each other.
"Aren't you coming?" Hoseok asked her.
"Huh?" she asked back, looking clueless.
"It's PE time," he told her. "Everyone's on their way to the gymnasium."
Her eyes widened when she saw that's it's only him and her left inside the room.
Hoseok laughs at her. "You've been spacing out. Come on, let's wake up your sleepy thoughts," he told her.
