Dahyun's POV:

I remained quiet the whole ride to Jihyo and Jimin's place.

I don't know what to say. And I don't think I want to talk to anyone right now.

My heart feels so empty and hurt.

As much as I want to hate Taehyung for what he did to me, a part of me still feels worried about him.

I can tell when he is lying, if he is hiding something from me, or if something's bothering him.

And he is so obvious awhile ago.

But I chose not to interrogate him even more.

Maybe he's just too surprised to see me again.

But then, I know that Taehyung is not okay.

"We're here, Dahyunnie." Jihyo calls my attention. I saw the way she's staring at me. She's worried and I feel bad for making her feel that way. "You okay?" she asks.

Am I?

I don't know.

But if Taehyung's not okay, then I'm not.

I just forced a smile.

"You two get some rest. I'll go back to school." Jimin tells us. He looks mad. He saw what Taehyung did to me back there and I'm thankful that he saves me.

"Jimin?" I called his name.

He looks surprised when I called him. Then his face became calm again.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks," I say. "And I'm sorry."

"For what are you apologizing for?" he asked.

"For what happened back there."

He gave me a what-the-fuck-are-you-saying look.

"Seriously. If there's anyone who should apologize, it's not you. It's him," he said.

He's right.

He's definitely right.

But I'm one to blame too.

Taehyung's not having a bad day, then I showed up which made his bad mood to worsen.

"Maybe he just had a bad day," I reasoned out.

The siblings didn't say a word for a moment.

I know that they are not okay with Taehyung, and I wonder why. Maybe Jihyo will tell it to me later or whenever she feels like talking about it.

"Listen, Dahyun." Jimin calls my attention. "The Taehyung you met 10 years ago, is not the same Taehyung you just encountered 20 minutes ago. People change, and we can't do anything about it."

He didn't give me a chance to speak. He gets inside his car then drives off.

Yeah, what he said is true.

But there are reasons why people change, right?

And if you really care for that certain person, you would at least hear him out instead of just letting them change into a bad person and forever wondering why they turned out that way.

"There's a lot for you to know about him, Dahyunnie," Jihyo said. "And I think you deserve to know some stuffs that happened through those 10 years you've been apart."

I don't know if I'm ready to hear everything. But I must. Or else I won't be able to help Taehyung.
