I hate U, I love U

Chapter Seven

"That bastard," Jimin mumbles as he starts the engine of his car. "You should not get close to him, Dahyun. I think he's out of his mind."

Dahyun glanced back at the restaurant.

"I think he's sincere this time," she softly said.

"What?" he asked. "Dahyun, he's just acting!" He's holding on to the steering wheel a bit tight. He's so mad at Taehyung for playing at Dahyun's feelings.

"But his eyes..." she trails off.

"He's glaring at you, at us! He's obviously planning to humiliate you again," Jimin said.

But Dahyun still believes that there's something different with Taehyung awhile ago. He looks like he really wants to talk to her, to tell her everything that bothers him.

She knows when Taehyung is hiding something from her. Yes, she admits that he begins to be complicated now, but still the old Taehyung is there. And Dahyun believes that he's slowly opening up to her again.

"I really don't know what to do," she sighs.

"Avoid him. That's the best thing to do," Jimin advised. "Here," he grabbed the paper bags full of food. "Eat first. I know your hungry."

She opens the paper bag and her eyes widened. "Why did you order a lot?" she asked. "Maybe you're the one that's hungry," she teased him.

Jimin's glad that the mood was finally changed. As much as possible, he wants Dahyun to just feel happy and worry free.

They've been together for only 3 days, but it feels like they've been together for years.

"Try the cheeseburger, it has bacon, it tastes really good!" he suggested.

"Really? Wahhhh," she looks really excited as she unwrapped one. The cheese is melted and she can smell the mouth watering burger patty and bacon. "It smells so good, Jimin!"

He laughs. "I can smell it too, Dahyun."

"Why don't you park the car for a while so we can eat first?" she told him.

"No, it's okay," he said.

"But I hate eating alone," she mumbles.

He glanced at her and saw her sulked face.

"Okay, fine. Let me find a place to park," he said. "There's a park nearby."

Jimin rarely grants request. But with Dahyun... Things must have changed.

"Where have you been?" Minhee asked.

Taehyung ignores her and just gets his books inside his locker.

"Oppa, why are you ignoring me?" Minhee asked again, sounding hurt.

He sighed and turned around to face her.

It's enough for him to make girls feel bad. First Dahyun, now Minhee.

"Hey, I'm sorry," he apologized. "Let's go to class now, hm?" he tries to make it up to her.

Minhee beams at him. She clings her arm to his.

He can't help but think about what Dahyun said to him.

She's right.

It's his fault.

He should've talked to her first instead of confronting her.

"Oppa, are you okay? What are you thinking?" Minhee asked.

"Nothing. I'm just tired," he lied.
