Chapter Ten

"How was your first day?" Jihyo excitedly asked as Dahyun and Jimin entered the house.

"Let her take some rest first," Jimin nagged at his sister.

Jihyo glared at him then smiled at Dahyun as she clings her arm on hers. "Let's go to our room and have an alone time," she emphasized the word "alone" to irritate her brother.

Untamed, Jimin sits on the couch to rest, eyeing the two, particularly Dahyun, as they went inside Jihyo's room.

Jihyo shuts the door closed.

"So, how was it?" she asked, plopping down on her bed.

"I didn't do anything," Dahyun said, placing her bag on the floor.

"Well, it's given since it's your first day and you're a transferee," Jihyo said. "Who toured you to the campus?" she asked. "Was it mochi?"

"No," Dahyun replied. She's contemplating whether to tell Jihyo everything that happened. It's not that she doesn't trust her, it's just that she doesn't want to remember it anymore.

"I can sense that something bad happened," Jihyo said when she saw Dahyun's sullen face.

"No, I'm just tired," she lied as she forced a smile.

"It's Taehyung again, right?" Jihyo knows she's lying. "Come on," she holds Dahyun's hands. "You can tell me everything. You'll feel better once you let it all out," she assures her.

Dahyun sighs.

"He's actually the one who toured me," she finally revealed.

"I knew it," Jihyo said, not looking surprised.

"He volunteered," Dahyun emphasized.

"Woah! For real?!" she looks surprised and curious.

"Yeah, I'm kinda surprised too at first. But..." she trailed off, remembering what he did and said to her.

"He said hurtful words and left you again," it's as if Jihyo already knows everything.

Dahyun didn't say anything more.

"Aish! Why did he become like that?! I swear to God this is all Minhee's fault. That bitch!" Jihyo is literally kicking the pillows thinking that they're all Minhee.

"Can you please tell me more about her?" Dahyun tells her.

Jihyo thinks for a while before sitting up properly again.

"I'm gonna skip the parts where she and mochi were the most lovable couple---"

"Wait, they're lovers?" Dahyun interrupts her.

"Ex," Jihyo emphasized. "Ex-lovers."

"Then what happened?" Dahyun looks eager to know everything.

"Well, turns out Minhee only dated Jimin because the school's principal is our family friend. She's ambitious as hell. She'll do anything to remain on top."

"Isn't she the top student?" Dahyun asked.

"Yeah, thanks to mochi," Jihyo said, feeling sorry for her brother and extremely mad at Minhee. "It reaches the point where Minhee will make him choose between helping her ace the exams or else she'll broke up with him."

"What? That's unfair," Dahyun can't help but feel a bit annoyed. "So what did Jimin do?"

"Of course, he's the one who ended their toxic relationship. And that's how Taehyung get in the picture," Jihyo said.
