Jade's POV:

I groaned when I heard someone coming into the room. I stretched my body and sat up on the bed while I rubbed my eyes. A tasty smell was all over the room and when I turned around, I saw Perrie with a plate of waffles. She put it on my bed while she leaned down to kiss my forehead. I almost flinched when she did that. I just woke up so I didn't have time to get into my act yet but I managed to stay still.

"What?", I wanted to ask but Perrie interrupted me. "I told you I want you to feel comfortable. I ordered these waffles from the most famous waffle house in the city because you only deserve the best.", she said while she sat down beside me playing with my hair. The fact that she desperetly wanted me to like it here could be very useful.

"Thank you Perrie... I love waffles.", I told her and she had a wry smile on her face. "I know. You deserve that after I snapped yesterday. I don't want you to see me like this but I just couldn't control myself. Now eat up. I want to take you shopping.", she said and my eyes widened in surprise. "You... Let me go outside?", I asked in disbelief and she nodded.

"There will be rules of course and trust me, you don't want to break them besides, I can tell that our clothes are uncomfortable for you to wear.", she explained while I started to eat the waffles. A moan escaped my mouth while I ate them. They were so soft and delicious but I could see that Perrie licked her lips when she heard that.

I didn't expect that she would take me out so soon... This could already be my chance without even doing much. I almost thought that I even had to sleep with her willingly in order for her to trust me but I was glad that this wasn't the case since I didn't know if I was even capable of that.

"Be ready in fifteen minutes. I'll wait inside the car.", she told me before she left. Alright, I had to be careful now. I could get my freedom back today but I also had to get Leigh Anne out of here... I needed a plan. After I was done with the waffles, I instanly started to get ready. I didn't want to be late since I didn't want Perrie to snap right away.

When I walked outside my room, Jesy was already waiting for me. She lead me to the garage while I nervously looked down. I had to choose my words wisely now. "Why can't you and Leigh Anne join us? It would be more fun.", I asked her and tried to sound excited. "Because Perrie wants to be alone with you besides, Perrie doesn't trust Leigh Anne.", she told me and I nodded.

"Will Perrie and I really be alone?", I asked since I expected some gang members to join us to keep an eye on me. "Yes. Well, only Perrie's driver will come with you but he will stay in the car. But don't get any ideas. Perrie has a lot of friends in the city. She wouldn't take the risk, if she wasn't sure that it was safe.", Jesy said in a warning tone and I gulped.

I would never get used to her harsh gang language. Perrie was already sitting inside the car, playing with her phone. Her eyes instanly lighted up when she saw me. I sat down beside her before Jesy closed the door behind me. "So Jade, rule number one, you will always stay by my side. Rule number two, never talk to anyone. Just stay silent and let me do the talking. Number three, wear this hat and sunglasses. Always keep your head down while we walk. I don't want anyone to recognize you. If you break one of these rules, you will see my other side and trust me, you don't want that. Understood?", she asked and I nodded while she gave me the hat and the sunglasses.

The car ride was filled with uncomfortable silence. Maybe she wanted to test me. Maybe her gang members were everywhere ready to catch me, if I tried anything. Maybe I shouldn't take the risk so soon. Maybe I should try to pass this test so she trusted me more and would give me a better oppertunity but I desperetly wanted my freedom back...

I wanted this nightmare to end... I decided to let the situation decide. I would obey her but if there was an oppertunity, I would take it and if there wasn't, then I wouldn't. I would only risk it, when I was sure. I wouldn't force it. When we finally arrived, Perrie gave me one last warning glare while she grabbed my chin in a tight grip.
