FLASHBACK TO DAY OF CRASH
The violent shudders and screams jolting me from the nap i was taking. Immediately i rushed from the room into the halls of the ship.
It was pure pandemonium. People shouted and ran every which way
Confused about what was occurring i raced toward the bridge, where i assumed my father would be. Before i could make it there, a explosion erupted sending me crashing to the floor and sliding several feet away
Dazed i climbed back to my feet and kept running. Another explosion sounded somewhere on the ship and panic grew even more
What was happening?
Just then a firm grip pressed into my shoulder from behind pulling me back
I spun and was relieved to see it was my father and mother. He grabbed my arm and hauled me through the chaos until we reached a sector i had never been in before. I noticed as we rushed away a planet nearby swirling with blues and greens
"What is happening father?"
"We are crashing" he said simply
I knew from his tone not to bother him with any further questions.
He shoved my mother into a large padded container showing her how to free herself when it was safe, then he proceeded to do the same with me
My heart rate kicked up as the door to container slammed shut enclosing me inside. It was spacious enough but it was clear that it wasn't made for prolonged stay. I would suffocate in it if stayed too long
A powerful eruption sounded and then the screams fell away and i felt a weightlessness. My container banged and crashed around hitting who knows what. Something large and heavy abruptly crashed into my container jerking my body around violently
I felt my head crack against the un-padded part of my sanctuary and instantly i was out
When i woke there was not telling how much time had passed. I unlocked the container and cautiously peeled it open
The blinding of light made me squint while the smells that assaulted me had me scrunching my nose in disgust
The air smelled like smoke, dirt and sewage. It was quite unhealthy air. I hefted my body out of the container and took stock of my surroundings. Nothing recognizable was around, not a single soul i could see, the ship nor smoke from a possible crash
I looked up at the odd colored sky
Blue and white how strange. Only one sun? How do they ever keep warm?. Jut then a strong gust of air breezed across my skin causing a chill that answered my question
They don't
My eyes searched once more before i decided i had to move. My people couldn't be too far from where i landed
I began to walk down the barren streets attempting to remain as inconspicuous as possible. The things i was seeing however gave me pause. This planet was incredibly odd. There were strange squarish looking metal containers with small windows and round things on the bottom. Then there were large metal and wooden sticks standing in the most strangest of places. I wondered what they could possibly be for
I didn't know what the natives of this planet looked like but they seemed far too odd to want to ever meet
I continued walking speeding up my steps. I tried to use my LoQuan speed but i felt somewhat too lethargic. Just hen my stomach gave an angry howl
I needed food if i was going to continue, But i did not know where i could find such a thing on this dead looking planet
I lifted my nose and sniffed deeply. A cloying scent of mold and decay assaulted me but beneath the foul scent there was the scent of fresh food
