Cameron pov
" I'm allowed to eat lunch with her if I want to Cam, I should be allowed to make other friends." Alex said coldly. I stood there and stared at him in shock. He'd never been this way before. Did he feel I was getting controlling?
"B-but we can go home together right?" I stuttered in an attempt to save our friendship.
"Sure I guess but Katie comes on the same route so she'll join us," Alex looked somewhat disappointed. I looked at him with pleading eyes as he just turned around and simply left. What had this Katie girl done to my love?
Who was she to Alex?
I turned around, not being able to face the sight of Alex simply turning his back on me for a girl. I had to do something about this...Before I knew it, 4th period was over and it was time to go home. Katie and Alex walked out of the science lab together, leaving me trailing behind. Alex and I would usually go home together and as we where neighbours, we'd go to tennis training together with Alex's mum. Some place I'd finally be able to talk to Alex. Alone.
We got on the bus and soon enough we where on the train too. Alex and Katie where talking the whole time, including me in the conversation once in a while. But I didn't want to be part of them. I just wanted to be with Alex.
As we got off the last bus we saw that Katie got off at the same stop. She'd moved into our neighbourhood. Next to Alex's house. Great . That's all I needed. Well what's the chance she could play tennis with us too? As we all walked into our own houses, I glanced at Alex. I was missing him already...
