So,you might be thinking.. what sort of an atrocious thing did Cameron do that made Katie want to screw the love of is life so badly?
Well, tennis wasn't as easy as a racket and ball game anymore. The kids were playing at a national and international level and competitiveness was getting dangerous. People would go to ridiculous lengths to get their child into the top 4 players that got sent to America every year for a year of free elite tennis training at the worl famous Heather Robson tennis academy.
I know you. You're probably thinking "well they're only 13 and 14 year old children, what ridiculous lengths could parents possibly go to?"
Alex ,Georgia and Katie were already chosen as 3 of the 4 people being sent to the states. Cameron was quite confident that he would get chosen to be the fourth person and he was fine with it even if he wasn't. His dad on the other hand...
Richard Reid. The world famous mafia boss, the wanted criminal, Cameron's father. Richard had left Cameron's mother before Cameron was born because he was on the run from the police of many countries. When Cameron was born, his mum could never muster the courage to tell him the truth about his father and so told him that his father died a few days before his birth. Of course Cameron was grief stricken but he got over it within some years and he was living a perfectly normal life with his mother.
His father however, although he wasn't able to live with Cameron, he still cared for him immensely.
Richard would go to any length to get the best tennis training for his son... no matter what lengths he would have to go to for that...
