Katie pov
As Alex walked in I flashed him a smile. I saw Cameron frown as he walked off. Was he really jealous? I had no intention of stealing his best friend. I just wanted Alex to be happy and right now that seems to be away from Cameron. I see when Alex is with Caneron he appears under pressure and somewhat bound by Cameron's undying affection towards him.The training session went well. I got to learn alot and improved alot. I also discovered just how talented Alex was. He plays nationally and his tennis was just a class above everyone else's in that group. Cameron...well...he was fine...till towards the end of the session.
It was nearing the end of the session and the coach decided to play doubles. He put me with Alex against Cameron and his friend. Alex and I played well and beat them. After , Alex and I shook hands with Cameron's partner but Cameron refused to shake hands with either of us. I thought he was just being funny at first but when he walked off I realised he was serious. Why bring school things into tennis? Can't he just focus on the tennis and improving? That's what Alex and I where doing and it wasn't even our choice to play together.
As we walked out of the center, Cameron trailed behind us as usual and I decided to talk to him.
"Um..hey Cameron is there anything wrong?" I asked.
"Anything wrong? Everything's wrong Katie. Since I've met you everything's wrong..."
"Ok listen Cam you can't just blame her for anything," Alex butted in.
"You're right. I can't blame her. It's not her fault... I'm sorry Katie."
And with that Alex stormed off.
I stood there next to Cameron.
I was confused . Did something happen between those two at lunchtime? Have I missed anything?
I need to ask Alex about this....
