A New Beginning

James POV:
We stand with all our gear by the door. This is it. We're leaving. The twins are asleep in the car and are ready to go. We pick up our cases and boxes and pack them into the car. Me and Riley look up at the house.
'Well...this is it. You ready?' I ask her.
She nods.
'More ready than I'll ever be' she smiles.
Our family has come to see us off. I turn to Piper and Emily.
'How would ye feel if ye owned this place?' I ask them.
Their eyes light up.
'Really?! Yes! That would be amazing!' Piper and Emily say.
I smile and hand Emily the keys.
'Alfie will be staying with ye. He can help you look after Deborah. I think he'd appreciate one baby rather than two' I smile.
They laugh.
'We're really going to miss you' they say hugging both of us.
'We'll miss you too. But we'll come visit every now and then. And ye can come and see us' Riley says.
They nod.
I look at Riley.
'You ready to go?'
She looks at me and nods.
'Yeah I am' she smiles.
I take her hand and go over to the car with her.
We sit in as I start the engine.
We take one last look at the house and smile and wave goodbye to everyone.
I then drive off.
I place my free hand in Riley's as we drive along the fast free road.
'Here's to a new beginning' Riley says.
'To a new beginning' I smile.
She leans over and places a gentle kiss on my cheek.
I smile and turn on the radio and play some music.
It's time to start our new life.
I cant wait to see what the future has in store for us all.
