Finn:
My heart was pounding not only from Sadie sitting in a chair at the long table just a few seats away, would I ever be able to look her in the eyes again. I've tried to avoid talking to her the whole morning but the meeting was about to start and I really hope I wouldn't do anything unprofessional. I didn't trust myself around her anymore, she was so hard to read, she didn't seem to object last night but I had to keep reminding myself that we were both drunk and nothing had really happened anyway.
The Duffer Brothers burst into the conference room followed shortly by a few other producers. The just of the meeting was there had been a report of disorderly conduct and a few camera men living on site had seen us stumbling around late at night drunk. and underage. They were threatening to release the information to the public. Our director, Shawn Levy, assured that it was all being taken care of but that we were going to be punished and a new set of rules had been drawn up for filming.
The rest of the cast and crew sighed, there were already so many rules we needed to follow. Going to bed at a certain time before shooting, No going off site without permission, no photo's taken or shared while filming or in costume, the list went on and on. I suppose it was reasonable but non-the-less the entire room's mood dropped to disappointment. A stack of papers were passed around with the new set of rules and I, along with the younger cast who had been at the party was assured that our parents would be informed and if this was taken to trial the money would come out of our paychecks.
God this is so stupid, they're over reacting, nobody got hurt or anything and most kids our age drank at parties. Suddenly because we were in the public eye it became this big deal. Ugh everyone started to lead out of the long conference room but I stayed sitting. I'd head out a little later I din't mind waiting for everyone to go first. I turned my attention to the collection of papers in front of me but I couldn't bring myself to turn the first page just yet.The room was empty but I could still see someone sitting to my left, their head in their hands, out of the corner of my eye. I turned to them and froze. It was Sadie she seemed upset. I should've walked out but obviously I couldn't, I could never just leave her like that. I got up and walked over, placed an open hand on her back and when she looked up at me with her eyes wide I asked her what was wrong.
She sat up quickly, I don't think she knew I was still in the room. She stood up and faced me, her back pressed against the edge of the table. Her cheeks flushed and her hair a mess but she looked beautiful. I asked my question again but her eyes flitted around the room refusing to meet my eyes. She mumbled an excuse about how it was nothing and started to fidget as if she was going to bolt out any minute. I couldn't help but come closer, crowding her space but that forced her to look into my face as her breath hitched slightly in her throat.
I should have probably backed off but she was starting to smile and my heart was leaping our my throat at being this close to her again. I took another step forward to make our chests touch and as she looked up at me I lost all my self resolve. I lowered my head until our lips were nearly touching and hovered there, waiting. Her breath hitched in a small gasp and after a moment she seemed to make up her mind and crashed our lips together.
I was on cloud nine, her lips were soft and after they slowly parted for my tongue I couldn't hold myself back anymore. I picked her up and sat her down on the conference table and stood comfortably between her open thighs. My one hand started to draw circles on her hip while my other held her jaw lightly. We broke only to pant heavily when we needed air before diving in. She was intoxicating and filled every space in my mind. Her hand toyed with the hair at the nape of my neck and I was in heaven.
Suddenly she tugged on a curl and I let out a soft moan into her mouth, god I felt like a girl. Sadie smirked into the kiss and I could feel her revel at taking control. She bit softly on my bottom lip and pulled my hips towards hers. My breathing got heavy and she slowly reached for the button of my jeans, "Woah, woah Sadie." I said laughing softly, "Not here, not now."
Softly I pecked her one last time and stroked her hair back into place. She smiled up at me and nodded with a giggle.
"God Finn, what was that?" She asked as a joke but I could tell the seriousness behind the question. What was that? I grabbed her hand and helped her down from the table.
"That was something I've been waiting to do for a long time."We collected our papers, hands still glued together, I never wanted to let her go. We walked around with blank minds and happy faces before i turned to her. "Can I treat you to um... like coffee or something sometime?" I cringed at my own words, I wasn't good at this. But she smiled at me and the whole world seemed to slow and I wanted to save this moment in my memory forever. Sadie's Strawberry hair was messily around her shoulders, her sapphire eyes glistened in the early morning sunlight, her perfume flooded my nostrils she always smelled like peaches and citrus. Her baggy sweatpants barely hanging on to her small frame and a loose Bob Ross shirt faded out from the wash hung over to one side, leaving one pale shoulder exposed.
She squeezed my hands, "Of course Finnie, I'd love that." I could tell that I was beaming and she laughed at my reaction. I wanted to hold her forever and never let go, but I settled for a quick hug as she darted off to meet Millie for breakfast. I couldn't help but stare as she went and thought to myself how gone I was for this girl already.
I was screwed.
