Jack had confessed everything to Sadie on that midnight phone call, although it was meant for Finn, Jack found it calming to rant to the fierce redhead. he knew she wouldn't judge him. She didn't have a judgmental bone in her body. He originally had taken a disliking to her, thinking that she was too dull and bland to possibly be worth Finn's time. he didn't like how she took Finn's attention away from him, and how Finn spent what little time they had together talking about her. But as the call went on and Jack's tears started to dry he began to understand. She wasn't just Millie 2.0 nor was she trying inherently hard to be something she wasn't, which he felt even Finn did sometimes. She was just Sadie, a shy, quiet, genuine, fiercely loyal girl.
Sadie:
"You can't keep going on like this Jack," I said in a hushed tone, Finn's phone cradled close to my chest as I stood outside his room. "I know," he sounded desperate, "But I really don't know what I can do."
Sadie nodded, the weight of guilt nearly crushing her as she heard Finn mumble in his sleep, a sleep he hadn't been able to have for weeks all because she was too naïve to recognize the signs.
"Listen Jack, I think Finn needs you right now as much as you need him, why don't you just come down here for a quick visit next week. You could stay with us and you don't even need to book a hotel."
"No you guys are working, I would just mess shit u like I always do. Finn doesn't need me anymore, he has you..."
"That's bullshit and you know it," Jack smiled on the other end of the phone, he knew it was bullshit.
"Listen," I said, "That kind of crap may work on Finn, but you know he needs you and he can't keep staying up with you every night, it's draining him. I'll tell you what. I'm going to book you a flight and send you the details. You better catch that plane ok."
Jack made a small noise in agreement. He had only left Georgia a little over a month earlier but his excitement at going back was already tingling. They chatted about stupid shit, mostly Finn, for a few hours but when the clock hit 3am Jack decided he needed some rest. Sadie agreed and the monotonous beep of ending the call sounded throughout the cramped trailer. She started to feel excited about Jack's visit and how happy Finn would be. She decided she would keep it as a surprise. Before slipping into bed she shot Sofia a last message, asking if she was free next week. It was a long shot but just maybe the IT crew could come and fix Finn one more time. She giggled at the thought of actually pulling this surprise off.
Sleepily I climbed back into bed with Finn, I was way too tired to walk all the way across set to my trailer. Plus Finn was warm and he gently wrapped an arm around me to pull me closer. I smiled into the darkness even if nobody could see me, and snuggled into the lanky boy behind me.

Hey guys sorry for the break I took for a while there, I really appreciate you if you stayed with the story. I had kinda given up on it to be honest but you guys are just so nice I had to come back. Also sorry for bringing Jack and Sofia back but I just love them too much to not have them as a central feature, Gaten too! Anyway love you guys so much and hopefully I'll keep updating frequently now that I'm on holiday!
xoxo Holly
