Samus Aran throws off what remains of her Power Suit, and fires her tether directly at Ridley, choking the space dragon around the neck.

Ridley had taken the space warrior by surprise by blowing up her armor. The two then locked themselves into ferocious combat and are out for each other's blood.

It is brutal, it is deadly, and it attracts the attention of two nearby fighters training with each other. One a great swordsman, renowned for his ability with the blade and other weapons, and the other the hero of Hyrule, Link.

Kirby lands beside Link, as they witness the explosions and screeches from a ways away. Both of them look at each other, not wanting to interrupt Samus's fight, but also not wanting her to end up dead.

Link nods, and they leap down into the fray as well. Samus acknowledges their interruption but doesn't make too much of it. However, Ridley, sick of being out-numbered, nails the ground with his tail, causing it to shatter apart and the trio to leap into the air. Kirby grabs his cutter, and attempts to nail the dragon on the head, but Ridley dodges out of the way, screeches, and dives back into the woods.

He's not fleeing, just making a tactical retreat. The space dragon grabs two statues out of the forest, one of the Phazon warrior, Dark Samus, and the other causes Link to yell, and brace his sword.

Ridley screams, and carries the statues of Zelda and Dark Samus off into the distance.

Samus grits her teeth and pulls out a gadget, pressing a button on it. She knows exactly where Ridley is going.

He's hunting for a key.

Kirby and Link walk over to Samus, Link ready to save Zelda, while Kirby looks more ready to eat lunch. However, he'll fight as well.

The trio head off into the woods.

Part 8:
Dark Pit isn't one to go heading off into Skyworld. He doesn't like it there, and plus Pit lives there as well with Palutena.

Two of the last people he'd ever want to talk too.

However, something came up, and he needs their help, no matter how much he didn't want to ask for it.

Viridi, goddess of nature and basically one of the few reasons Dark Pit can still fly, requested to have him visit the conference of Smash villains, because she couldn't go herself. The bad guys bore Dark Pit, and he could care less about them, but he went anyway.

And then that trio interrupted the meeting, and gave the majority of villains the ability to freeze characters into stone. It didn't pique Dark Pit's interest, the only thing that gave him bad vibes was the swordsman staring at him intently. He reminded the angel of Hades, a person he really didn't want to remember.

On the way back to Viridi, Dark Pit diverted his direction in order to get the man off his trail. If she was frozen, it would spell disaster for all of the land.

That didn't stop the same scumbag from stalking him and turning Viridi to stone. Dark Pit was forced to flee the forest before he ended up petrified.

He lands in Skyworld's temple, tucks his wings in, and counts to three. The moment he hit three, Pit falls out of a nearby cloud, and rams into Dark Pit.

Dark Pit rolls his eyes as Pit smiles excitedly and gives him a hug. He is clearly thrilled to see the dark angel, as he thinks the two of them are best friends.

Palutena steps out from behind a pilliar and Pit immediately kneels down. He looks up at Dark Pit, who isn't kneeling, and nudges him on the elbow. Dark Pit ignores him and looks at Palutena, who just nods.
