"So, how did it go with the hottie from the bar the other night." Mew asked Zee as he reviewed the liquor order. "His name is Saint and it went well, thank you very much." Zee responded as he flicked the bar towel in his hands at Mew. Amused and intrigued, Mew chuckled "Saint, his name is Saint!" "Yes dumbass, what's wrong with that!" Zee asked annoyed at his friend. Mew responded when he was able to control his laughter "Nothing, man it's actually pretty perfect, the saint and the sinner, you can't make this shit up." Rolling him eyes at Mews failed attempts at humor, Zee said "I'm so glad you are so amused by my situation. Do you think you can quit your giggling long enough to actually help me out here. I have no idea how to approach this situation, I really like this guy Mew." Sensing the sincerity in his friends plea quieted Mews laughter. He reached across the bar and placed his hand on Zees shoulder "How can I help." Looking down at the bar towel he held, as if the answer would suddenly appear, Zee finally answered "I just don't wanna screw this up! I don't wanna scare him off or freak him out with all this." He said gesturing toward the 180° side of the club. Mews eyes softened with understanding as he nodded his head. "I get it man, when I first told Gulf about myself and the club, he was a little weirded out and he actually had been to the club before. Is this guy in the scene at all or is he straight vanilla?" Mew asked. Zee went on to explain what had happened with Saint and his reaction to seeing the boy in the suspension ropes. He knew his friend would understand and never divulge what he knew. After hearing about Saints reaction and how he responded to Zee afterwards Mew said "I think you're on the right track. I mean I know as much about kids as you do, but I can imagine Saint would be pretty protective of her and not want to rush into anything. I think you need to get to know him and slowly show him who you really are, if you want something real." Gazing out the mirror that overlooked 180° Zee said "Do you think it's even possible for someone like me to be with a man like him? Do I even have the right to try?" Angered by his friends question Mew stood up and walked to where Zee was standing. Grabbing his arm Mew turned Zee to look him in the eye "What the hell kind of question is that? Do you need me to bring Gulf in here to remind you of what a damn good person you are, of all the sacrifices you've made to get us here. Do I need to line the staff up and have each and every one of them tell how you single handedly changed their lives for the better? Or why not just start right here with me, how you befriended the school nerd who was too shy and withdrawn to look anyone in the eye and routinely got beaten up. None of us would be here if it weren't for you, so don't you dare think for one second you don't deserve to be happy. No one in this god forsaken world deserves it more than you."

The emotion in his eyes was palpable as he released Zees arm and turned around

The emotion in his eyes was palpable as he released Zees arm and turned around. Moved by his friends words Zee pulled an emotional Mew into his arms. Zee remembered how he and Mew had first met. It was senior year and Zee had just transfered in and was walking across campus when he came across 3 boys pushing and shoving a 4th boy to the ground. The boy on the ground wasn't small and didn't look weak, but he refused to fight back. Zee stepped in and put an end to the bullies games. The 2 quickly became friends after that and had remained so to this day. Coming back to the present Zee said "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. I do want to be happy and I know I deserve it, I just don't know how to be what he needs." "Then learn, listen, watch, it's what you have always done best. You see what people need even when they don't see it themselves. Hell it's one of the first lessons you taught me. I wouldn't be here today if you hadn't shown me how to embrace my true nature. Without your guidance and training Sammy would of never been brave enough to follow her heart to Del. And Gulf would of never had the courage to believe he could succeed." Mew finally said after he calmed down. Patting his friend on the back before releasing him, Zee looked him in the eyes, "You and the others just needed a little help understanding how to take and relinquish control." "Maybe, but it's the training and the club that you provided that allow us to have a safe, secure place to be ourselves and to release our needs without fear or judgment. You created this haven so we could be who we are without shame and away from all the labels society loves to place on us. I'm so proud to be a part of helping you build this place. If this guy can finally give you what you need then by God I'll move heaven and earth to see you get it." Mew said with a determined look that Zee recognized. Smiling at his best friend of over 10 yrs, Zee said "Well if I'm gonna accomplished all that, I guess I better get started, cuz I called him and we're suppose to see each other this weekend. Mew pulled up a bar stool and sat across from Zee.

"So whats the plan? How are you gonna woo the pants off this guy

"So whats the plan? How are you gonna woo the pants off this guy." He asked. Zee let out a growl and threw his hands up in frustration "I have no fucking idea man! I don't do dates and I seldom need wooing to get someone out of their pants. This is so new territory for me. How did you get Gulfs attention? I mean hell you guys have been together forever." "Ummm well, Gulf sort of just decided I was his and told me so, I wasn't about to argue. We had our bumps and disagreements over the years and my boy has a temper, but we always manage to talk it out." Mew said. "Maybe just keep it simple. Invite him over for dinner and you guys can talk and get to know more about each other. I mean, I'm sure he has questions about the club and how it all works. Let him see your domestic side before you bring on the full Dom. Why not start there?" Mew suggested. Zee thought for a moment then responded "I guess your right, I do need to get out of my own way and stop creating problems that don't exist. It's just a date, I can do this!" He said, desperately trying to psych himself up.
