Perth was exhausted as he stepped into his apartment. The stress of worrying about Mia and trying to hold it together for Saint had sucked all the energy out of him. He kicked off his shoes and dropped his coat and tie as he made his way to the bed. He plunged face first onto his thankfully soft mattress. Earth came in behind him straighting his shoes and picking up the discarded clothing. He knelt down by the bed and raked his fingers gently through Perths hair. "You should take a bath so you can relax and not be so stressed. I'll get it ready for you so just stay here till I call." Earth said as he headed toward the bathroom.

Perth could hear the water running and soon he could smell the scent of lavender and rosemary from his bath oil. Earth walked back in the room and urged him to his feet. Once in the bathroom Earth slowly began removing Perths shirt and trousers. When he was completely naked Earth helped him into the warm, sweet smelling water. Just the feeling of it enveloping him brought a sense of peace he desperately needed. Earth placed a rolled towel under his head and a warm wash cloth over his eyes. Leaning forward he kissed Perth softly on the lips before saying "Just close your eyes Handsome let me take care of everything. All I want you to do is lay back and relax."
Earth sat on the edge of the tub and used another wash cloth to gently rub more of the sweet smelling oil across Perths left shoulder and down his arm all the way to his fingertips. Coming back across he did the same thing on the right side applying gentle pressure to each finger easing away the tension as he went. Leaning over to improve his reach Earth wiped across Perths chest and down to his firm abs. Perth just relaxed against the tub and gave Earth complete access to his body.
Despite the sensuality of this setting, both men knew this was not ment to arouse or tease in any way. Every movement was deliberate and intended to relax and erase the tension today had imbedded in Perths body and soul.
Earth slowly ran his cloth covered hand over Perth's firm thighs and down his sculpted calves. Once he had finished with the relaxing bath he used the hand held shower wand to wet Perths hair before rubbing in the shampoo and massaging his scalp. At this point Perth was sure if heaven really existed it would feel a lot like this. Earth gently tilted Perths head back to rinse out the shampoo. Then he helped him to stand so he could rinse off his body before getting him out of the tub. After drying him off and getting him some clean pajamas Earth sat him on the bed and dried his hair.
The feel of Earth's hands rubbing and raking through his hair and gently scrapping across his scalp had Perth moaning in pleasure. "Oh Kitten, if the thought of you doing this to anyone else didn't make me want to kill someone I would suggest you do this for a living cuz you are unbelievable." Perth said as Earth turned off the blow dryer and moved to turn down the bed. With a smirk Earth replied "Well rest easy Handsome I can assure you, no one gets this treatment except you. Now get in bed and I'll make you some tea before I head home." That had Perth stopping in his tracks "No! You can't go! Please Kitten! Stay with me!" He said with a hint of desperation in his voice. "You need to rest and recharge for tomorrow. If I stay you might start to get "ideas" in the middle of the night and that is not what this is about." Earth said as he caressed Perth's face in an attempt to sooth him once again. Wrapping his arms tightly around Earth's waist with the intention of preventing his escape, Perth buried his face in his neck and spoke "I just need to hold you Kitten. I need to feel you safe and warm and by my side. Please! I'm so exhausted right now I honestly don't think I could get any "ideas" even if I wanted to." Unable to see the fear in Perths eyes a second longer Earth reached up and kissed him before nodding "Ok Handsome, you win. Climb in bed and I'll go take a quick shower and snuggle in beside you, how bout that." Perth nodded like a toddler who was just asked if they wanted ice cream. Earth smiled because honestly it was the cutest thing he had ever seen.
Before he could turn to go shower Perth grabbed his hand and pulled him back in for a hug while saying "Thank you for today Kitten, for the hospital and then everything here tonight. You didn't have to go to all this trouble, but I'm very grateful that you did." Earth just returned the hug and kissed his cheek before responding "I told you before, doing things and taking care of the people I love is very important to me. So you better get used to it Handsome cuz you're pretty much stuck with me now." With a smile Perth leaned down and connected their lips in a soft lingering kiss that held boundless emotion. "I'm not now, nor will I ever complain about that Kitten."

About 15 mins later Earth came back into the room freshly showed and wearing one of Perth's shirts and boxers. He turned off the light and slide under the covers. Perth seemed restless laying on his back and twitching every few minutes as if whatever scene played in his dream was disturbing. Earth snuggled in close using his chest as a pillow. Perth almost immediately wrapped his arms around Earth then as if by magic his restlessness disappeared and his breathing became deeper and more even. Earth could feel the change, he could hear Perth's heartbeat became steady. As he lay there held tightly in Perth's embrace he thought to himeself 'this must be what peace feels like'. With that thought he closed his eyes and slept, safe, secure and hopeful for the first time in a very long time.
